Nice conversions, and you do a good job with the lightning effects.
The one with the sword and shield is epic. He's like, "who needs a gun??". True badass.
I would say you could use a bit more highlighting, but otherwise you have the right color scheme.
    Keep it coming

Brilliant stuff, I like where it's going! What's your gold formula?

thaks for the comments , highlightings probably one of the biggest problems i have , never know how much is enough lol
the gold formula is quite simple , simply vallejo brassy brass inked with the old gw flesh wash

Looks neat. It's always good to see some pre-heresy legion.

love the posing you've done, each marine looks cool and like he's doing something.

i also think your highlighting looks decent enough.

    keepit up!

The dual-hammer wielding guy makes me pretty happy. And the ones with the skulls painted on their faces are extra excellent.

Re: fear the night- heresy-era/post heresy nightlords

did you pin the raptor lower legs to the fw upper legs?

if so, how did it go?

    smoothly?

    badly?

"why am i doing this piece of **** when i could paint another awesome night lord instead?"-badly?

no pinning whatsoever , just straight forward super glue ;p , though i may pin future ones if i have to use the metal parts again , rest of the squad will be using the resin raptors , these are just the first ones ive completed using some old metal ones i had lying around

Neat work on the Raptor. He gets an awesome terror marking too right?
And again with the close-combat weapons. Outlandishly large chainsword FTW.
