weekly progress update, lots of shading, layering, washing and most of the highlighting done.
Warp jump pack needs a little more colour. Looking to have it fade through a jade green mottle over the blue with the purple coming through at the base.
A little more highlighting around the collar / gorget.
Some more work to go on the sword, has been years since I have used a yellow, and I opened it to find it dead...
Then my HQ is done!
Holy cr*p, that daemon prince is turning into one mean eyecatcher. Impressive display of smooth highlighting. 5/5 lightning bolts

Rhino 1 complete
The colours look a little richer than IRL, but are fairly close.
The symbols are all Dheneb Stone with Gryphonne Sepia wash and picked out with skull white, but try as I might, they look different in the photos, but accounting and colour balancing for them leaves the blue looking way out of wack. Still need to put some more time into learning Adobe Lightroom for colour balance... also not having my light tent on hand ATM isn't helping.

Major progress on Nixon.
Hope to have all the minor touch ups and lil extras finished this weekend.
It was worth taking the day off work to get stuck into thisI was a bit nervous starting, this is the first large conversion I have made and didn't want to mess it up. Happy with the progress so far.
I can really see him running across the battle field, sprays of dirt and rubble kicking up behind him, bearing down on the nearest enemy, with a massive growl emanating and also breaking into all local vox channels "NIXON'S BAAAAAAAAAAACCCKK!!!"

Looks great so far asraphos.... but my only comment would be he seems a little too solid in the waist department.
It's a hard thing to get down... but if you build a second i'd suggest looking into it, i'll put up a few shots of how i put them together when i do my next knight update. Love the blue though... cracking colour's you've got going on.
