I think I have taken my Alpha Legion as far as I want (for now!), so am starting a Death Guard force. I am going to start modelling with green stuff as well, which is something I have never tried before - I have already done some work on some terminators.

The paint scheme for your DP is way cool. I can't wait to see it translated to those Terminators. Nice touch adding the Nurgly GSing to the termies. And thank you for not putting any on the FW resin

I love that people are going for the dirty white Death Guard rather than the green. It looks really sharp, and makes more sense. I hope GW adopt it as official when the Chaos Codex comes around next. It just looks so... so sharp!

not bad man, i only have one teeny tiny little problem with your choice of colours, the skin of your daemon prince looks a little too green, apart from that, it looks amazing.

Your first try with GS looks good. Thankfully nurgle GS is really forgiving, unlike GSing hard details. Good for practice

Wow! Thank you for all the comments. Sorry I haven't replied sooner - but I was on my honeymoon . I have started my first terminator, I am painting them rusted metal and corroded gold as Death Guard Terminators wore gunmetal coloured armour, not white.

very nice work so far, can i ask how you painted the boils on your demon prince?

Start with Mechrite Red, wash with Baal Red (no need to be too neat as it will make the surrounding area look 'sore'), then Scab Red > Blood Red > Leprous Brown (GW don't make this any more so try golden yellow with a small amount of bestial brown). Hope this helps.

I really live your paint job on the DP. I am a fan of high contrast paint schemes. It looks brilliant. I really like the exposed muscle on his shoulder. It's ace.

So I have (finally) finished my first terminator. I am happy with the colour/effect of the armour - the photos aren't too good I'm afraid, the armour is a bit browner 'in the flesh'. As always, feedback appreciated.
