New to DC, need some advice

Hello all! I was uncertain about where to post this, so I figure I couldn't go far wrong with "General Discussion". I just moved to the Washington DC area, and I play both 40k and Fantasy (though I favor the latter somewhat).

I know there are several GW stores and clubs in the area, but I was hoping somebody on this site might have some insight as to what they are like. What the usual attendance is like, when 40K/Fantasy nights be, which have That Guy you want to avoid. Stuff like that. Any help would be appreciated.

Im from UK and have been looking for gamers. Your bet bet really is to go down and chat to the guys and find out. One phone call and I knew days times and numbers of players. 2k is always a good size I find in the UK if your going first time take a 1500pt 2000pt and 2500pt list and tweak as necessary!
