One of my sources stated that there was one plastic sprue for each chaos power. Though he thought the only one that wasn't a sorcerer was the Khorne one.

So I suppose the Nurgle lord is a sorcerer. I wouldn't be surprised to see the other two turn up on october.

Almost certainly that one-off 'not-quite-Man'o'War' game people were talking about a while back.

If thats from the back cover, probably the October release.

    Thanks for the pictures.

I could use another Saurus Vet, but I can't tell if I like him or not. Will have to wait for some more pictures.

Oldblood too cartoony for my liking (as far as I can tell from this angle), but the Champion is lovely and the armybook cover is gorgeous.

Or to be more accurate, it's really nasty... in a good way! That model is absolutely awesome. I want one.

The Saurus is horrid. Not in a good way.

I'm not a fan of the artistic style for the 8th ed. army books. Just doesn't appeal to me at all. Its at least partly the colour pallete, but none have jumped out and said 'this is amazing artwork'.

The nurgle lord is fairly impressive. The old blood is just another saurus model.

    Re: New WFB September Releases

The Nurgle Lord is fantastic, and the Vampire Pirate intriguing.

The Oldblood however...I had such high hopes for this model, considering how good the new plastic characters look like. I cant understand, why GW insists on sculpting those grotesque Saurus, that not only dont look anything like the Saurus from the artwork, but also have very little reptilian qualities about them at all. Sometimes, if You strip them of their blue paintjob, their snouts can be more resembling of a cow than a lizard(the new battle standard bearer for example), and this one seems to be no exception.

I blame the painting big time. Same case as for the savage orcs. Besides, the picture is awful. Most of that mess is the shield but you can't tell from this shot. Did the saurus have raptor's talons before? I never noticed.

Finally a Nurgle character, that actually matches the artwork.
