Archon Gejb's kabal of the Somewhat Naughty

The sideproject has sort of grown larger than my main 40k army project so I have given up and decided to give the project a log of its own.

Here is my first complete squad of warriors. I am planning to expand the warriors to another squad of 10 so I can mess around with different builds when the time comes.

Sorry about the wierd light in the pictures. Going to take better when i have the time .

How I paint my dark eldar:

1)
Armour: Mix of chaos black and vallejo model colour emerald, around 60% emerald 40%.

Blaster: Boltgun metal, chaos black and vallejo model colour brass.

Cloth: Chaos black.

Purple cloth: Liche purple

It should look like this:


2)
Armour: First highlight pure emerald

Blaster: Black highlighted with adeptus battlegrey. Metal areas washed with badab black and then devlan mud.

Cloth: Highlighted with adebtus battlegrey.

Purple cloth: Washed leviathan purple.

Now the warrior looks like this:

Armour: Second highlight vallejo model colour blue green

Blaster: Black highlighted with fortress grey. Boltgun areas painted boltgun metal leaving a bit of the darker areas where shadow and dirt should gather. Brass area repainted vallejo model colour brass.

Cloth: Highlighted VERY carefully fortress grey (a small dot is enough to give the illusion of depth in the cloth).

Purple cloth: Repainted liche purple leaving darker areas.

Now the model should look like this:

Armour: Final highlight blue green and skull white 50% 50% sort of maybe a bit more blue green I go with the flow .

Blaster: Done

Cloth: Done

Purple cloth: Highlight edges with 50/50 skull white and liche purple.

Eyes and combat drugs: Scorpion green ( maybe 3 thin layers to get an even coverage).

Now the model looks like this:

Eyes and combat drugs: Paint all the green areas with vallejo model colour green fluo (Paint 3 thin layers to achieve even coverage).

Then high light the green areas with 50/50 skull white and green fluo.

DONE!
