The army is looking great as a whole but that BSB...wow. The conversion makes him look totally badass and the painting is top notch. Great work on that one!

wonderful painting and some very nice original ideas here. I really like this!

my only suggestion; why dont you use red or a warm brown for the Ogre trousers?
This way you will balance the cold colours on the model and the whole thing will look even better

Love the theme. Love the paint scheme. Really love the Bruiser.

    More please.

Oh, and please add lots of Yhetees and frosty magic ice weapons. I'd look outside of GW range for some better alternatives, or perhaps prove to us that a badass Yhetee conversion is possible!

Perhaps even a huge wooly uber-yhetee beast for a Gorger!

I imagine there will be at least 1 Thundertusk to come?

If it's true about pack units of Sabretusks in the Ogre book, those would fit right in with a frosty paint scheme.

Smogres? Are they living in the city?
    Wouldn't Snogres make more sense?

Fantastic start on the ogres mate the colors are really good, and the BSB looks so mean. But how come his iron fist claw is so small? I think it would look nice you made it bigger

Another suggestion is to let the banner poles go longer down thant the shield its attached with, or maybe fasten them with a belt or string higher up, as it is now it looks a bit strange IMO?

Still a really good start though. Keep it up

I've had some ideas along these lines, sadly I won't be painting/converting any Yhetees or Gorgers until I've painted my main core stuff, but watch this space

Sabretusks are coming very soon and I'm converting my own.

Now you mention it, it does look kind of small. I used one of the Mournfang Ironfists, they look really nice from the back but the blade is kinda small. I could always switch the blade with one from the Ogres sprue, they are a fair bit bigger. Overall not a huge issue though I think.

Not actually sure what you mean here. I've looked him over from the back and he looks fine to me. I've converted a backpack that the banners fit behind, and it's attached to his back with leather straps, there's no shield. You can't see the straps on the unpainted model but they are there, you'll see once it's painted

As someone who has never seen an OK mini he liked, that BSB actually looks pretty fracking cool. Nice work.

Allow to dry completely between stages and job done! Sometimes I will do multiple washes/highlights for characters and models that require more detail and tone.

Love how you've got such a great blue/cool color with the skin tones, but you've still been able to make it look like skin! Always hard to make fantastically colored skin translate as realistic and you've done a wonderful job there!
