I gave that Medusae a round of applause, consequently earning myself some funny looks from work-colleagues. Beautiful work all round fella, from the sculpting to the painting. As with Foxtale and Eldargal, I would happily pay or sell a kidney for one of those.

Again, this is excellent! The sculpture is beautifully enhanced by the paint and in addition the tip of fluff add an other dimension ... It's really a genius plog... Highly more ...

You really need to think to mold your works ^^

    Hello everyone,

Wonderful to see this model getting such a warm reception, thanks for all your comments.
This was the first model I fully sculpted and I like the result, that opens the door for some other projects I'd like to try. On the modeling front I'm going to try my luck on an second Medusa an Archon and a Haemonculus. As for painting, Lelith is next in line, after that who knows.

As for casting these mini's I'm afraid I have to disappoint you. While it's not that I don't want to help. The process of making molds, casting the mini's and sending them around the world would simply take to much time. I want this to stay a hobby I can enjoy.
The first consumer rapid prototypers are hitting the market so in the near future things will be a lot easier, I'd simply scan my model here and you'd be able print the model at home, we just have to wait a bit for prices to drop to more reasonable levels.
Until that time feel free to copy my work for personal use. I think there are enough wip shots to help you along.

That is just beautiful! None of the brain-turning images I've had before. A truly remarkable sculpt and paintjob.

Hats off. A whole hat shop, in fact!

Funniest/coolest line I've read on Warseer! And a pretty good description of the plogs above.

    Good Evening everyone.

This Lady requires no further introduction, Lelith hesperax:

Yes she is a Blonde, at first I wanted to go for the usual red because red works well with the armour. But blonde makes her stand out a bit more in the army and works really well with the lighter purple in her boots/stockings.

Now some 3d pics, and remember cross your eyes (gently) till the images overlap.

@ easternheretic and Serpent: great you liked the medusa, there will be a second one....eventually...

Great work on Lelith, the hair colour change really worked out well imho. The blonde hair really stands out.

Lelith is fantastic! The skin tone and her outfit are top notch, however the blonde hair really makes her stand out! I've only ever seen her with red or black hair. Whatever your method for painting blonde is, it obviously works wonders!

    Jaw dropping stuff as always.
Medusae is great model, although the hands are a little bit flat and could use some more work . I know how hard is to sculpt a whole model (especially hands and face area) so kudos to you for the great sculpt. I love little details like ears showing through hairstyle.

    Lileth model is flawless.

Good to see Lelith so well received, though its hard to ruin an excellent sculpt like that.

The skin has a base of Elven Flesh (GW), Then blended with Deneb stone(GW) and White to White, then A Rose Brown Wash (Vm) en finally some more deneb and white wherever it got to pink.

Hair starts with Medium Fleshtone (Vm) then a Flat Earth(Vm)+ Medium fleshtone wash, then blend your way trough medium flesh tone and sunny skin tone to sunny skintone +white for the lightest area's. Don't drybrush hair it will make it look dirty.

The hands could indeed use some more detail especially, knuckles and tendons, but truth be told after I finally got the fingers more or less right I didn't dare touch the hands again, afraid I would ruin them.

As usually I'm not sure what will be next, though atm I'm a bit preoccupied with Vampire Counts.

Again excellent work! I really like the purple-into-red armour you are doing. Not envying the amount of time you spend per model though .
