Have you written a top quality mission?
If you have, send it on to me for possible inclusion in the first Space Hulk Missions Compendium. There are three sections and I'm accepting applications for all of them.
Section A - Quick Missions
This section is all about getting a challenging game over and done inside 40 minutes. Boards for this section should have no more than 18 board sections, 7 doors, 5 Terminators and 6 entry points. Entries are picked for their challenging but balanced nature and compelling rules mechanics. I'm looking for 5 missions. These missions must use only the contents from the Space Hulk 3rd Edition box.
Section B - Campaign
This section should have a series of 3-6 linked missions with an overarching theme. Entries are allowed to use standard Terminator rules or the newly published Grey Knights rules at http://spacehulkmissions.blogspot.com for the loyalists and either the Genestealer rules or the new Khorne Daemon rules (also published at the aforementioned blog.) Only one campaign will make it in to the compendium. Interesting, well written fiction would not go amiss either.
Section C - Single Missions
This section may include any single mission that doesn't fit into the first two categories providing they use either the Grey Knights vs Khorne rules pack or the official rules from the 3rd Edition box.
Sections B and C may include additional board sections, but those board sections must be well designed, properly formatted to fit in with the 3rd edition boards and sent in a printer friendly format for inclusion in the compendium. If this necessity is not fulfilled, the mission will not be considered for inclusion.
Every designer will be properly accredited for their work. The missions must use original maps (no close approximations from officially printed GW material please. Space Hulk Missions is about creativity.) All entries WILL be playtested, so give them a go yourself first before firing them our way. We won't give feedback on bad missions. They will just be tossed out, unless we think they can be salvaged. If that is the case, we will email you with our changes and if you accept, it may be published in its new, edited form.
That is all. Get on it!
The Space Hulk Missions blog opened in December 2010. Since then, it has received almost 7,000 hits over 4,000 of those in the last 4 months, despite my crippling inactivity on the writing front. Come join me and give Space Hulk the support it deserves.
