    Re: Darkritual Project log

Here is how i did the skin!

    Black undercoat
Air brushed the hole skin bleached bone
then air brushed skull white on the places the light would fall.
Then i heavyly washed it with grayphonne sepia.
Then ive highlighted everything with a 50/50 mix of bleached bone skull white.
Then highlights with watered down skull white.
When this was done i washed the hole model with 5/1 water and ghayphonne sepia.

    Some more WIP:

Oh yes, I like it a lot. Much better than the original, makes helluva more sense to me. The paint job is also top notch. I will be returning here.

Love it. All of it. Keep it up. The Thundertusk with Stonehorn face was waiting to happen. Are those tyranid bits I spy on the top?

Only request I'd make is I'd love to see you take the Chaos theme even further and less subtle.

    More please!

Perhaps model the leaders as Ogre Chaos Champions?

    Sweet Dude
Like the big fellas a lot . The tusk looks impresive and the Ogres looks nasty and mean . Very nice job with tusk eyes . Good good stuff. Keep up a very good work !

    That Thundertusk looks amazing.

GW really need to include more than 2 semi-front-on angle shots in WD for their new minis. I had no idea the lines on that piece were so nice. And your paintjob is excellent

    Re: Darkritual Project log

This is by far the sickest looking Ogre army I have seen so far. The skin tones on both the Ogres and the Stonehorn/Thundertusk (whatever) are masterful. Any chance of a quik tutorial on that? The firebelly looks as if he is literally spouting out flames. The lighting on his mask is just plain masterful. And I didn't even mention the really cool but subtle conversions.

Where are you from exactly? Hit me up with a PM. Mayhaps our armies can clash on the battlefield someday.
