Not much to talk about on the Dust front lately but there are some AMAZING things being released in the future judging on the pictures from Gencon!

Anyhow, in the meantime, painted up the SSU Commissar squad and decided to knock out an additional Close combat squad to take advantage of the Commissars skill to unite two squads for double the close combat shotgun trouble!

Nice patterns on your vehicles. Whenever I paint camo it ends up looking like vomit.

    +1 !!
Having testing it a few weeks ago, I'm definitely convinced on the game itself (for the minis, I'm a big fan for ages !! ^^)
As always, I really like the way you've painted your minis : dark and gritty, and great choice of colors.

I just have a little question for a friend of min (as I don't play SSU) : how have you fixed your airborne walkers on the chopper and the base ? Magnets ?

Hi tancrede, yes magnets on the base and feet of he walker. He quite happily hangs on the hooks of the hell without ant assistance, if a little loose, bend them in a little using hot water or a hair dryer to warm the plastic

defo a player mate and Dust can take the credit for re-kindling my player interest, absolutely love the mechanics! Just been a little busy lately with xmas and commissions and stuff so hopefully get a few more battles in sometime soon and bob some more reports up. I have a whole SSU army to break in and lots of new allied and axis units of course!

Couple of Axis Jets added to the army, these are very nice models, fun to paint!

    Horten HO-347 III/IV

Horton HO-347 'Fledermaus III' armed with the mighty BK 75mm Kanone

Of course you could opt for the Fledermaus IV variant sporting 150kg bombs but who would want that when you can have a BFG!!!
