Ogres Vs Norse How it went.

Hi Guys

Game 1 in the Elite League.

Well i though i would post up, my match report from game one in the elite league.

Well the weather was nice and we actually got +2 on the fame roll nice, Must have been the rising star Jonah Ram u as he was leading the casulties and TD's for the ogre team last season... both teams were at 150 for team value so alot of development there... we lost the toss and B&S decided to recieve... all good i set up my players and awaiting the Kick Off result... BLITZ
I did'nt expect that damn what do i do now...
With the ball pretty much in the centre of the pitch just off to the left i decided to go for the ball, my first blitz was a double Block down result which was Ok because my number 5 Ogre had Block, which was fine however i decided to over commit my whole ogre line to get into contact with the norse team... mistake number 1... this enabled the Norse to block at will against my Ogres.... also an Ogre decided to throw a snot to try and get onto the ball however landed in a tacklezone and splat off he went injured not a great start...
So Turn 1 the actual first turn... with the Norse now closely engaged.. the norse decided to move around abit to gain a few 2Dice advantages... the first Ogre went down -1 MV so decided to apoth this as a -1 MV on and Ogre Missing the next game was bad reroll from apoth Death... so -1MV it is... the second block was done by the Norse Troll with claw Mighty blow, Blitzed and smashed into Jonah Ram U on my strength 6 Ogre, and Killed him instantly with no apoth he was Gone... and then also lost a snotling on from a norse block to Badly Hurt... so lost 4 players in the 1st turn, things are looking fantastic for the Ogres

As i had lost 4 players to the norse the Ogres tried to consolidate and put 2 norse into the dugout 1 Lineman with tackle and a Wolf knocked out... but the damage was done Norse scored on turn 4 to take a 1-0 lead.

Turn 5 saw an Ogre with Break tackle break free of the pack and make a run for the endzone with the ball in hand, no one could stop him as he raced in on turn 6 for the touchdown.
Leaving 2 turns for the Norse to get 2-1 the norse started out with a runner with movement 7 head down one of the widezones and a long pass from a thrower to the runner was made successfully, i had one turn to stop him and an ogre had gotten all the way to the ball carrier only to double block and stunned himself, on the final block roll, awesome all that work to stunn ya self damn Bone Headz...awesome...
Norse score on turn 8... yay one turn to maul his team and then kick off to me.

Turn 8 was nothing but pushes not one norse player down damn.

Halftime time B&S 2 DBH 1

Secondhalf with 2 Ogres down was not looking great however a few knocked out norse did'nt come back in so was actually still even... had the ball in play and was about to rumble up when one of my snotlings double 1'ed so turn over for the ogres again the norse Swarmed my ogre and but could not get a 2 dice block on him so decided to leave it to me to stuff up...
Again i moved some snotling onto space and get my ogres that had fallen down up... i had found a way to break free just had to get a snotling into a tacklezone making 2 2+ dodges in order for the Ogre with block to smash thru and break tackle out... again Double 1 on the Snotling awesome day for ones...

This enabled the Norse player to smash my ball carrier and pick up the ball to score on turn 4 so 3-1 up for the norse and i am not happy...
Turn 5 i tried to smash my way thru but to no avail as the numbers were over welming and were starting to take a toll on my 4 ogres that were trying to hold the line... in turn 5 another Ogre goes down only badly hurt... so thats ok but now i only have 3 left and 2 snotlings... again my ogre gets isolated as i don't have the numbers to protect him and he gets knocked down on turn 6, the norse now decide to take to the ogres and keep them down and score on turn 8 final score is 4-1 casulties are 6-3 to the norse... with 1 kill i also did a kill but was apothd successfully..

So my Starplayer Jonah Ram U is Killed and a -1MV Ogre
On The up side i had an Ogre upskill and he already had AG3 and went to AG4 so what do i do... do i restart the team on the 150 TV??? or carry on with an AG 4 Ogre and hope that my team can regroup??

Carry on ofc! Never leave your team when they have a rough time... told that to my friend when i killed 7 of his players in 1 game. think he smashed his team with a hammer or gave his team to a 4year old kid with a rock. havnt seen that team since then.

But its up to you roll a dice and let it decide what to do if u cant make up your mind
