Shame we cant see a better view of it but from this view it looks good - left arm bicep above the wrist armour looks a bit iffy


The Vermin Clan Lord is a new hero from the talented hands of Felix Paniagua, based on a concept art from Daniel Heredia.The miniature can be assembled with four different weapon combos, two hand weapons, halberd & hand weapon, hand weapon & shield or halberd & shield.

Really nice! Might pick this up for my Skaven army. However there are quite a few good "Hero" sculpts for Skaven, I'd have liked to see a "Vermin Clan Warlock" or a "Vermin Clan Techno-Mage" if you know what I mean

I agree with you. There are already a lot of nice Skaven characters, including the easily customizable ones in IoB. I wonder how many people would bother spending $15 or so on another Skaven character, delightful as he may be.

I do think he is adorable and would gladly own him if someone threw him my way.

EDIT: I like him better than the FW mole-rat Skaven.

I can see how you'd get lion from the hair, but I think it also works fine for ratman.

This model definitely looks more AoW-ish than GW-ish, regardless of the fancy factor. Imo, the details on this model definitely make it more hardcore than GW's Skaven. The trophy rack, chains, and the immense amount of spikes accentuate an aesthetic not seen in GW's skaven models. Although GW's models DO look fancy. Skaven also look more wolf-like, and have really big buck-teeth. Judging from the shadows under the nose, this model appears to have a wider snout and pointier teeth.

Can't wait to see another angle!

I hate Skaven (a lot), but this one has many options and can come with legal combinations if you want him for GW.

I do however like this model and hope he is an option for the beast faction in Arena DeathMatch. Not too fancy as the last two, just right and still over the top with the rack on his back. As for the neck I hope it is due to the poles (they can hardly be poked in the body as with some GW models, I expect more realism from AoW).

And +1 to more pictures yes-yes please.

I quite like it. Obviously it's not called a Skaven but I don't know how they avoid court action when others get pounced on by GW legal.

I'd consider getting him. It's quite a well done model. It would fit on well with the other official GW Skaven range.
