Urgat's Armory v0.3 [Blood in the Badlands Siege options]
ghost21 claimed this, in complete defiance to what the Forge World/Warhammer Forge guys were saying and in fact displaying at the time (the complete Chaos Dwarfs range, that is, including things that hadn't been released at the time such as the Bale Taurus variants). They have said that they've not started on Bull Centaurs yet
Hey look a Balisk, will it kinda works with Lizardmen, at least it's cold blooded.
So far it appears what we will be getting in this book so far, at least by the looks of the rumours and by what FW have released so far is..........
8 Incarnate Elementals
Cursed Etin
Basilisk
Phoenix
Idol of Gork (or Mork)
Fimir Warriors
Dread Saurian
Hellpit Destroyer
Exalted Vermin Lord
I would imagine the Toad Dragon, Carmine Dragon, Bale Taurus, Bull Centaurs, K'Daii's, K'Daii Destroyer, Plague Riders, Bile Trolls and Plague Ogres will be turning up in the book as well for those people who do not want to buy the Tamurkhan: Throne of Chaos book but still want the models since many of these model are being sold separately from their riders as well.
What would be cool is if they made Chaos Dwarfs a sorcerous pact in addition to Daemons of Chaos, Vampire Counts and Tomb Kings as that would guarantee Chaos Dwarf sales for years to come.
Unlikely. The explanation given for Sorcerous Pacts is that you can magically compel a single unit of just about anyone to fight for you with the summoning spell (75/150/300 points worth), but if you want an entire army, you can only do that with creatures that inherently contain an essence of magic - hence Daemons and Undead. Chaos Dwarfs are no more magical than, say, Chaos Warriors or anything else, so will almost certainly never be available as a Sorcerous Pact. (I think their sales are guaranteed for years to come by virtue of the fact that they are awesome models, and their army list, fluff and rules are far more awesome than anything in Storm of Magic; but that might just be me).
Now personally I find the whole Sorcerous Pact quite unconvincing at the best of times (seeing Teclis alongside a Sorcerous Pact of a Bloodthirster and a bunch of Bloodletters, in White Dwarf, was for me the point at which GW officially sacrificed everything that I find compelling about Warhammer) but that is, of course, just how things are.
Dread Saurian!!!
I like the sound of that.![]()
@suntzu I'm pretty sure he meant the bale taurus and k'daai stuff, possibly bull centaurs I don't know enough about their fluff to say for sure.
Fancy FW Dino you say?
Oh boy my wallets going to take a hit when this bugger is released![]()
Acta Non Verba
"I have seen worlds burn and crushed nations underfoot, torn down the idols of false gods and slaughtered kings like cattle. Presume not to order me tiny man, for I am war, and you are no more than chaff before the scythe..."
im hoping for some undead stuff in this book, i love the terrorgheist and vargulf dont get me wrong, its just vamps seem like an army that would realisticly have alot more proppper monsters then those two ( not including zombie dragons, abbysil terrors and such)![]()
The Collect Call of the Cthulhu
Damien 1427's Broad Collection of Tat - My attempt at actually painting things.
This book is a must and a few nice Chaos units to go with it! Think i'll start with few units of Fimir!!!
Army of the Southern Gate
theDarkGeneral
T'raj the Terrible
Khorne Legion Daemongorge
Necrofex Colossus? What exactly is that?
what do dark elves get in terms of monsters for normal games.
all the monsters are just for storm of magic, the charts just limit how many of particular things you can take. Its just a nice fluffy thing and not really relevant unless your playing a 5000 point SoM game. But there is nothing keeping you from adapting those guidelines into house rules for fluffy games

A giant made of necromantically fused zombie flesh wrapped around 'bones' made from bits of old boats and animated by stitching the heads of living mortals onto the necks of the zombies used to make the thing's muscles.
The one I can't wait for though is the Khemric Titan which would appear to be a giant golden scarab beetle about the size of a Baneblade, or maybe a Stompa….
Both of them have semirandom attacks like a regular giant, only a shade or two meaner. And they also have super-Thunderstomp on top.
