In a system of caves behind Altdorf a very special tournament was set up, one to decide the Amber-heir of Kadon. Taking the form of a vicious beast at the beginning of battle, wizards of the Amber college battle as their new selves, while apprentices fight each others as goats, bears and wolves the masters, those able to contest for the title of Amber-heir of Kadon, duke it out in far more terrifying forms such as Chimeras, dragons, giants and even stranger beasts.
Idea: This will be a tournament of duels between warhammer monsters. Each player may take a featherweight, middleweight and heavyweight monster as their different forms, at the beginning of a battle between two wizards I will roll a D3 to see in which class they compete.
Rules:
To enter the competition you will have to go through some steps.
*Wizard Name This will be your in game name, the name of the wizard doing all the transforming, it is suggested that you write background here as well.
*Featherweight choice Chose a monster or monstrous infantry with a cost no greater than 100pts from any of the warhammer armybooks, the Storm of Magic supplement or another source, in the case of another source it must be approved of by me although it probably will be. The monster may not be a character choice although it may be a mount for a character.
*Middleweight choice Chose a monster with a cost no greater than 250pts from any of the warhammer armybooks, the Storm of Magic supplement or another source, in the case of another source it must be approved of by me although it probably will be. The monster may not be a character choice although it may be a mount for a character.
*Heavyweight choice Chose a monster with a cost no greater than 500pts from any of the warhammer armybooks, the Storm of Magic supplement or another source, in the case of another source it must be approved of by me although it probably will be. The monster may not be a character choice although it may be a mount for a character.
*TacticsWrite down any tactics you wish me to take in to consideration.
Once a fair number of entries have been made I will start the challenge. I will make the rolls for all monsters and give each a chance to use any ranged abilities before the close combat starts. The monster with the highest move will get the charge (with flyers counting as Move 11 for this purpose) and if the move values are identical I will dice of.
The tournament rules aren't fully finished yet but will be posted when they are (although suggestions might affect them before).
