    Total Wargamer Order Concerns

Has anyone ordered from Total WarGamer before? Did it go smoothly?

Just wondering because I ordered a number of things from them on the 19th September and nothing has arrived yet. According to the site the order has been processed, but not dispatched as far as I can tell. It says allow up to seven days for delivery, but it has now been nine days! I've tried contacting them via there site forms last two days but no reply yet.

The seven days will be from the date of dispatch, rather than when you placed the order. In any case your best bet is to call them have the order number ready and ask for a dispatch estimate

Hmm, I was just about to phone them, checked the website one last time and now it says dispatched!

At least now I know my stuff is on its way

Cheap but very, very, very, very, very slow to deliver. Also piss poor customer service. General thumbs down then for the Evesham lot.

They're the company I use most regularly (orders of varying complexity once every 3 months or so). I can't say I've had any complaints, but then I call rather than email if I have a question.

It seems a lot of people go to forums complaining about slow orders.

Why you ask if the called, "no but I emailed and never heard back".

Yeh, absolute waste of space! I have had two orders that went way over time, cancelled them both via email because no one was answering the phones. Took them 3 days to respond to my emails about the orders, then got an automated apology but no information. Still waiting for my refunds. Probably best to avoid if you are serious about getting your miniatures in a reasonable time and definitely avoid if you need to communicate with them about it. ABYSMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WON'T DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN AFTER THIS.

I do hope the OP isn't still waiting, given he created the thread a year ago...

They also operate as magicsingles.co.uk, which is the cheapest, quickest, and best Magic the Gathering singles site in the UK.

So this is likely a one off, despite the threadomancy!

So not just me then. Just been waiting for an order to arrive that's taken them a month to send it out. Got the delivery cost back but that's all. They always do it and constantly give **** excuses why they are having issues with slow delivery. Last time it happened and I complained, all they did was knock of half the delivery cost. Really that should of flagged them up. Only use they were was for for the 25% to 30% discounts weekends or weeks. You have to watch these though, as my last order, about 4 of the items the discount was cancelled out by the stupidly high delivery cost. So in the end only two of the items I benefited from the 25% discount. And every time the orders come, there is always an item or more circled saying "To arrive". So what the fk did I just pay you £7 delivery for then if you STILL haven't sent all the items.

I also ordered Warhammer 40k Dark Vengeance on the 8th, still hasn't arrived.

    Useless.

I'm now looking elsewhere for online orders. Anyone used Wayland Games?

I have a couple of times, and not been too impressed, but I know other people who order regularly without issue.

Hmmmm no one off. I too placed an order in mid september and have not received a thing. I have e-mailed and rang many times this week and have not had any reply....e-mail or phone. I will never use these guys again. Very, very dissapointed. I may as well order straight from GW and pay the full price. At least i'll get it within a few days.

This has tended to be my view of things recently. I don't mind paying more if I can have it within a few days, I think that's better than saving 15-20% and getting it a month later.

I'm now going to take the issue up with Trading Standards. I'm still waiting for Dark Vengeance to turn up, ordered almost a month ago. And the last order that took ages that is still missing the 2 liquid green stuff. Also waiting on the full p&p refund on the Dark Vengeance box. I suspect there are a lot of people being charged the full p&p and then still not getting it in time. Something Trading Standards need to look into.

    Re: Total Wargamer Order Concerns

I made an order a few months ago just for a couple of boxes of Warhammer. The order still said "processed" five weeks later. Received the items in the end, at a good price and postage was refunded, but not entirely convinced by the service, despite their apology due to staffing issues. The reviews on the site seemed very positive, but after reading this thread I'm not sure that they tell the whole story.

    Re: Total Wargamer Order Concerns

I think the reviews on the site our made up and if you review an item they mod it first. Negative reviews for an item never get accepted. I'm close to putting in a dispute with PayPal to get my money back. They take the order and money yet a month later still no order.

    Re: Total Wargamer Order Concerns

Further to the Total Wargamer issue. I've asked for a refund on the p&p for Dark Vengeance and told they'd do that. It's via PayPal and they still haven't, which they've done in the past a few minutes after my request (I suspect as I've started to complaining more they are purposely now being awkward). So I've contacted Trading Standards about it. Hopefully they'll contact them and maybe kick them into gear.

    Re: Total Wargamer Order Concerns

I came here looking to see if anyone else has had issues the past month or so, and lo and behold, I'm not alone!

Ordered a bunch of stuff almost a month ago to the day, and after waiting a few weeks I decided to cancel a bunch of it. Still waiting on a beastmen battalion, which was dispatched sep 28th and is yet to arrive.

Most shocking is the lack of customer service. They eventually got back to me via email, saying they give priority to customers who contact them via telephone (which surprised me, given that on the twenty odd occasions I called no one answered the phone), and that they are having staffing issues.

The discount is great, but I doubt I'll use them again.
