    Cool paintjob and a original conversion I must say. The paintjob is good but I think that the verdigris effect is a bit to strong i.e. to much of it. I would have liked some contrast e.g. the chainmail in rusted metal or so.

    Very nice and I'm eagerly awaiting more skellies

    Re: Glenning goes fantasy

    I finished my first 10 skellies tonight. The quality of the photos aren't the best but you get the idea;

    I think I'll take some new shots tomorrow..

    I'm also going to switch bases to some ruin bases from Scibor Miniatures;

    Anyway, next project will probably be a Necromancer or a unit of Grave Guard before I buy a box of 10 more skellies. In the future I'm planning to organize my force after the Tomb Kings army list(so I can use chariots). I'm going for an ancient celt look with a lot of elaborate shields and animal symbols and skulls.

    I'm planning to use these great looking shields, also from Scibor, for my Grave Guard, Black Knights and Chariots;

    Lovely thus far - I really dig the muted tones, and the way you use a bright spot colour - will be following this!

    Those are some great looking skellies. Really like the blue stones on the banner, very nice contrast.

    Thank you guys!
    Tomorrow I'm about to embark on my next project - a pair of Necromancers using parts from the Empire wizard and Necromancer(duh?) kits! So watch this space!

    Until next time,
    Cheers

    Thank you Astraeos, appreciate it!

    Anyway, I just finished my Necromancer;

    I'm pretty satisfied with how the cloak turned out, so I think I'll try something similar on the Wight King's cloak..

    That necromancer is looking really good, I love the white streek in the hair. Could be used quite easily as an amethyst wizard too (probably down to the scythe head used). I think your army is going to look really good
