Re: The Dragonback wars -mostly Orcs so far!

Oh man, I feel a really bad for not having checked this thread for ages. I haven't been on Warseer for a looong time, but that really isn't an excuse. It's really stupid cause I really do appreciate all the feedback I get. So sorry, I'll try to follow this better!

I have Been doing LOATS of new stuff since then though.

First and foremost I have entered a 'Blood in the Badlands' Warhammer Campaign, that will last a year. I do Battle reports over over every single battle, And i'll make sure to upload LINKs to them in here as well.

    10. Blood in the Badlands: This means war (Daemons)
    11. Blood in the Badlands: Invasion of the badlands (High Elfs)
    12. Blood in the Badlands: Daemonic Invasion (Daemons)
    13. Blood in the Badlands: Retribution at all costs (Lizardmen)
    14. Blood in the Badlands: Green commander (Daemons)
    15. Blood in the Badlands: Monstrous Prey (High Elfs)
    16. Blood in the Badlands: Savage deep strike (High Elfs - Siege) - coming soon

All my batreps can be viewed in my thread on Da Warpath

Now, other than That, here are som LINKED pictures, to what I have been up to (since the pic cap on warseer makes it a bit irritating to post lots of pics!) I will post all my future pics in here as well though.

    My two new Orc Warbosses

    My Black orc Horde

My Savage orc horde (With champion sponsored by mdiscala! Very thankful for that model mate!)

My Orc Fulcrums (By dreamspirit wargaming!)

And this is just a shot of a 2400 pts army that I used lately against Lizardmen.

Again, I'm very sorry that I haven't been active and answering in here, but I will change that. Looking forward to post new creations and get your feedback!

    Cheers

The red for the savage orcs looks awesome. The black orc unit looks cool, so do the warbosses. I will check out the battle reports.

    Thanks Mate

Since your army is everything a Greenskin general could ever dream of having, it is nice whenever you comment on my stuff I'll have to check out your blog as well.

Fantastically creative blog you have here, the trolls are absolutely amazing, and it's awesome to see the huge variety of Orc models. Made me do some googling!

Thanks, great to hear that I find that some of the alternative greenskin models are sooo much nicer than GWs, but that's just a matter of taste of course.

Also glad you like my trolls. It actually is my project for the fall, to make common trolls in the same style, but with more bits and stuff, as multi part models, and then try to cast them. That'll be something new for me, and I hope I could make some nice models and maybe even sell some

Dude, I don't know if I already posted this but your army is an inspiration. It stirs this greenskin's heart to see such dedication. The army oozes narrative and individuality- key elements of an outstanding army.

The arachnarok spider is absolutely disgusting. Those under belly pustule sacks make me want to vomit. Brilliant! I also really like the trolls. I once tried my hand at sculpting a frost troll. Looking at your work demands that I go back with hacksaw and putty and up my standards! Truly, your army is, like I said already, an inspiration. Wow.

EDIT: your work, especially the trolls, remind me a lot of Paul Bonner's work.

Most of my models (including the savages) are from Ral Partha. They make some very nice and classy orc models

They look cool. Only thing I'm not sure about are the wheels. Are these GWwoundcounters?
The beasts pulling the chariots look great.

Re: The Dragonback wars -mostly Orcs so far!

Haha, Yes they are I didn't have anything else that could work as wheels, so I hope I can make those look cool, but I understand your worries!

The wolfs are super cool models. Really nice to have finally found a place for them in the army

Re: The Dragonback wars -mostly Orcs so far!

Let me add my admiration for the sheer volume of creativity and love put into your army - the thing you've nailed the best in my mind is the absolute unique quality of your force. There's a massive amount of character that's been added to almost every figure and it really comes across as organic and one of a kind. For an O&G army, the level of whimsy and personality you've invested in so many key pieces really makes it shine; it's something I really think WHF Orcs need to set them apart from other universe's versions (ironic that you achieved it by using many models from other lines).

Great sculpting skills - it's definitely a strength of yours and one you really use to great effect with this army. The trolls are absolutely a centerpiece unit, but it's the little bits all over that shine through for me. People might overlook the little details but, for my money, that's the additional touch that brings things over the top.

Great job - looking forward to more!

Wou! I love all the love in here

First of, Seraph74, Thank you so much! That was perhaps the most kind feedback I've ever received! I'm a bit flattered actually So again: Many any thanks

Also, thank you Spjuth. Glad you like the trolls. I really hope I can make some even better common trolls and make casts for it.

Thanks for commenting, both of you!
