I worked on the repaint of the skin going a whole lot darker.
Thoughts?
I think it looks not only heaps better but also it will look normal (as normal as flayed skin on a werewolf can look) when the other "skin" gets done

Yeah that looks brilliant. The skin was nice before but wrong for the wolfs skin.
Look forward to seeing the human skin done too.

Yeah, it definitely looks more atmospheric now. The lighting is very nice around the mouth and eyes.

Claps hands, looks better in every way.
Do you mind telling how you remove paint from resin models, have a couple I like to do myself and unsure what to use since I don't want to ruin a £90 FW Nurlge model :S?

Thank you guys
Fairy power spray mate works on resin, plastic and metal. I use it to clean resin as well

skin looks very good now... love this mood of the color... (and of course Beckinsale in leather... :-) )

ya know, the "flat" areas on the skinwolves is imho the human skin left over from the transformation, still not shaken off, so paint it pink, to make it really disturbing.. =)
@Zweifler - thanks pal
@Nkari - That is exactly what it is supposed to be torn skin, the wolf litterally bursts out of the human husk ready for battle and then reforms back once done. I won't be painting it pink I will be doing it fair skin/bloodless colour, but all in due course I want to get all the wolf skin done on the 4 before I do the fur and THEN the old torn skin.
Much better, it looks really brooding and atmospheric now![]()

Thanks pal.
Worked on the 2nd one last night, was a nightmare because it was stinking hot in my painting room so the paint was drying pretty much instantly it hit the model, and there was a small airforce of moths divebombing my face!!!!!
And time for a little flesh.........
...........oooh baby

This is really great work! One of the best painting projects to follow on warseer! Top artist!![]()
second one is even better than the first one... love the smooth transfer from the light color to the balck parts...
Still I think now, (after several looks) that the first one could be added with a little blood at the scars on the left breast, where something might have "scrateched" it a little bit (i know it might be old, but this little red/brown depending on the freshness of the blood, might add some more to the cool look of it).

@Tonny - Thanks a lot pal.
@Zweifler - Thanks pal, these are a hell of a long way from finished I have done the skin and thats it, still have all the fur to do, the old torn human skin, loin cloths, belts, bracers etc etc and then when all that is done to a sufficent standard I then will look at them and see what alerations in respect of colours, highliughts etc need to be made and THEN micro detail the lot, adding subtle gore etc etc, these will probably take best part of a month so paticence it will all get done in time pal, they are after all a Golden Demon Entry and will never see a tabletop
Gianormous improvements! the best painted skin wolves i've seen!
Great looking Werewolfs sir!
The darker tone is a HUGE improvement, looking forward to seeing them complete.
3rd and 4th wolves' skin done
