Hi to all now and to all that read later, this is going to be a small project till i can make up my mind on what army to do lol. So this army is going to be based on lotz of thingz but three in particular
* My other half(No not because of looks, maybe size...) character
* To have fun and improve my painting skills

* Thirdly A big shout out goes to Proiteus and his wonderful creations, i have followed his project Bringing Back The Rebellion: Grot Rebel Army! from the beginning which has inspired me to do my own.

This is going to start off as a 500pt Grot Mech army and go form there. I can't actually start my project yet as am stilling waiting for the main componet to come in the post from Forgeworld which hopefully be Monday. But that doesn't mean i've been idle nether (see next post) So here's the first two finecast models i have ever bought and I am overwhelmed with the detail on them.

I've never knew the amount you get on the sprues, coz you only see Gws Models on the Front of the Box or other armies. My Last Army was purely ordered bitz sites but am glad im starting off collecting sprues like this as its like Xmas with every look.

I think my favorite Sprue Set so far by Games-Workshop is the Nobz as the unique bitz are cool.





Ok so besides bitz i got form Bitz Sites that's all for now of Pic's, but will be getting more sets as the project progresses. Now all i got to do is choose which clan my Grots come from, Here are some..... themes....some lol that this army will be having

Hi to all, Right today's the day my order arrived yay!!!!!
Right my ideas for the mech vehicles for the grot army is based on Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors. One of my favorite cartoons from when i was a kid. I had my eye on the model i wanted to use for a while and thought it was the best one to use as well as it being a looted Imperial Vehicle which i want my army to be heavily themed around, this is of course the Elysian Tauros and Venator Assault Vehicles.

So my order was a tauros assault vehicle and i had too, the Gretchin Crew!!!
Am using the smaller Tauros for the warbuggy with twin rokkits and the venator for the transport of my troops and bigger weapons. But checking the parts they sent me a venator body with all the parts of a tauros assault. i sent a email and hopefully i'll get a reply. but to be honest am not disappointed as am ork-ka-fying them anyway and save Ł4 yay. So pictures of the tauros parts will have to wait so you can see it altogether. But i've taken plenty of the Gretchin Crew the detail is amazing check out the radio backpack!

Ok so changing tactics where i was going to build a Warbuggy with Twin Linked Rokkits with the Tauros light assault. Am building a Mekboy Junka with the Venator body, it's already armed with three big shootas but am upgrading one to twin linked so i got a excuse for a big gun lol.

Mekboy Junka to those that don't know is and i Quote
"A kustom ride built to show off their creator's skills and serve as a test-bed for their latest projects. They are loud, fast and often deadly, reliable however, is something that they are not..."

This in turn also serves as a troop transport for my Grots Troops Choice. I dont know if it's any good but i been told by my GWS Manger that the BS of the troops in the transport carries to the weapons on the vehicle so BS3 Big shootas I thought sounds good and twin-linked well my belief on OrK and grot thoughts about marksmanship is simply compensated by adding several more barrels to their guns. So i Surrounded myself with Sprues and got Started.

Now the Ork Wheels when place near are much bigger, so i cut away at one to make two fit. I made extra armour to cover where the wheel cut out would realistically be. Hope you like

For underneath i wanted a little realistic look so i use the axles from the trukk and made a simple but effective block for the front wheels to fit.

I also added piping to be one of the exhausts coming from the engine added by grots for extra Vroom! In the Rules the Mekboy Junka has like a extra fast movement so i thought this would represate quite nicley. Hope you like

Hi to all, the other side is done for the wheel, i don't think grots have a standard template for looted vehicles so i wanted it to look different to the other side. For the gun turret the Trukks gunner emplacement fits perfect onto the back able to slide up and down.

I going to make two of these transport junkas so my brain thoughts are the first will have the gun set up at the front and the second will be at the back.
If i don't like it i just fiddle the other way round.

I always think shanty towns when i see ork settlements and metal work and thats the look i wanted. But at the same time the unit is lightly armoured and open topped so what i have done is put the bitz on loosely, so it looks like a ramshackle work job which could fall off by itself or easily tore up by a Heavy Bolter.

Another Trukk Plating looks just right so i cut it in half and added other bitz that had rivets to add to the look of patch work and detail. This will act as the roof of the troop part of the transport. Hope you like

The look, looks better than i thought it would be, i covered the slanting back part so there more room for the gum emplacement and to make a flat back panel. The gun emplacment will be loose for painting purchases but is here for a template look of the model.

Like i said, i want it to be ramshackled look so the armour is not space marine quality and just random parts which repersents looting so i added a Imperial Armour plate with a few bullet holes for good measure. Hope you Like

Squig Oil is da best for fueling the Vehicles of da rebellion, so the Burna Boyz Kanister works great, i even manage to line it up with the part underneath to look realistic. The tap and fuel gage are iceing to the cake in detail.

Keeping with the Burna Boyz Sprue the straps i thought would be great for holding looted stuff from the battlefield and again using a Imperial Tank storage box its looks great on the side. Hope you like

Hi to all, the backpack from the Mekboy Sprue looks great with lots of bags so i added that as well, as it has grot riggers as part of its profile i thought it would look right if a looted ork spanner was on it somewhere. for the other side i probally put a fuel Kanister on it not sure yet. Hope you like

if your wondering why you've gotten so few replies so far, its 'cos you mostly shown us only spures. As for the trukk, looks pretty good, different from most of the orks about, but still orkish.

I'll pipe in and say thanks for showing pictures of the spures, its helpful to us non-ork players who are tempted by the green. You're truck is looking promising. Do you have a specific list or just building as you go?

Hi to all Thanks for the replies, I know alot of people know what the sprues look like but i did have a hard time myself before so i thought i'll be nice to those who don't.

I'll do more work tonite thinking about the drivers cover if i should keep original for this one and kustomising the next? Decided I will put another bag of looted stuff and a fuel Kanister on the other side just look through the sprues till i find the right one.

My list of building thingz is quite bland but i like the concept not over the top but simple for grots to work.

Hi to all, been looking into the drivers cockpit cover bars and i think it's best to leave the original there with this one so it doesn't completely look ork made. Scopes is there for scale purposes. Again the bars will be loose for painting purchases. Hope you like
