The tins are for the 70mm "collector" figures.
But all this reads rather strange now... hmmm... all metal, now? It's rather counterproductive as resin is way cheaper--there's no spinning that at all even if it "needs more time to cure" and "more moulds" and whatever--than metal castings... unless Knight Model's HQ is sitting on a zinc and antimony and tin mine.![]()
Yeah, the stuff about the tins was just Maelstrom being useless.
Perhaps there were issues with the legs snapping? That might explain a change to metal.
Having fun making up these Stormies. Put .825 wire pins up the very thin ankles for reinforcement.
I am trying out 1/16" mini earth magnets in the neck and waist to add to some poseability/swapablity.
Getting those two arms to come together on the gun and look right is a bit of a bugger.
