Just to comment the battle versus the Helves; the banner automatically dies when you break from combat, so your irongut death-star would be dead Probably wouldn't have given him the victory, but instead turned it into a draw?

I just want to say thanks for all the good double-Warhammer time I've had painting my ironguts while watching your bat reps. I'm really looking forward to seeing more 2.4K matches, since that's where I tend to land, and fewer IBs, since I'm not buying 3 more in order to emulate your strategy!

Your opponents seem to underestimate how deadly & quick your ogre units can be if not redirected or blown up by magic/artillery

@TsukeFox I completely agree. I tend to accentuate the speed with banner of swiftness, and fangs/tusks/stonehorns.
I see a fair number of great eagles, warhounds, peg knights, and now mounted yeomen - but not enough I think. But redirectors have been gaining popularity in the local meta, so hopefully we'll have new challenges in the movement phase.
Artillery and magic (specifically dwellers) does just fine however
