Nor dwarves, wood elves, daemons, or beastmen. Good news is that I've tapped into another gaming group, so should be seeing some new armies coming up.
I suppose I could fluff up the lists even more (it's not like they are particularly nasty) with some yhetees and gorgers. I've got two interesting lists with yhetees and had a notion for those gorgers... hrm...

Virtue of Heroism is NOT HKB. It's against Large Targets and with a non-magic weapon. It has no effect against Ogres (unless it's been errata'd). It has no effect with the heartwood lance...

What errata? If it's on the website (which it should be...) then it's not in the Brett Articles section, where it should be... So, where is it? Also, does the errata remove the restriction against magic weapons as well?

Poor humans. Unless it was a tourny really should have let the guy refoll his miscast cause that battle really did become a non event- you got off like all your buffs it seems every magic phase save for 1 turn.
Sad that without flesh to stone your army just kicked over his minatures like they were standing still.
Maybe the new book & better war priest will help out.

I actually offered to ignore the miscast (considering that it was only on a couple dice for flesh to stone, not like he 6 diced dwellers). He said that he wanted to let it go and and run on as if he was in a tournament - I guess we can pretend that the same thing would have happened when I activated the hellheart.
I don't think my magic actually had much of an impact. The str buffs didnt really come into play since he was making so many armor saves anyway, and the toughness or regen hardly saved any wounds.
Guess it is good practice for what if my "Mage blows up 1st turn-?"
Slaughter is what happens-maybe one cannon can be dropped for a lvl2 ?
The steam tank & 1 cannon should be enough.

Daemons loaded, intersting list I thought. So many strong single models, plus harpies and 2x flamers.

Yet it seems like the daemon player should have been more agressive with his plague unit once your fire belly used his breath weapon.
Special chars seem ok in friendly games but in tournaments?? Better hope no one dust off their Teclis model

I'd have thought with Epi he'd have had a much more Nurgle centric list. IMO he's one of the best special characters in the game.
I liked his rules, really added a dimension to that unit (more interesting than the typical regen stuff). Minotaurs, skragg, epi - I like all the rules that persist and get stronger over time, forces a whole new strategy component.
Thanks for good battle reports! I watched twenty in a row while building my new ogres.
I recommend trying European Team Championship rules/restrictions in some games. I think they make the game much fairer even though some people whine that they cannot field combos/units they don't see overpowered.
Or, you could just keep playing with the Warhammer rules which are fine. I look forward to seeing more videos, I think your battle reports are the best on Warseer.
