Thanks for good battle reports! I watched twenty in a row while building my new ogres.

I recommend trying European Team Championship rules/restrictions in some games. I think they make the game much fairer even though some people whine that they cannot field combos/units they don't see overpowered.

Sorta- I would wait for the 3rd draft. It seems like a lot of the Team Captains were not satisfied.

I'm not really sold on ETC yet. So far I haven't run into enough armies that can't be battled in a fun game with a normal all comers type list with some tactics.

New video now with more vampires and skaven. And chaos dwarves in the pipeline...ooh.

I started fro the first so na, I just don't buy the OK are OP talk one bit, and find myself going "No No NOm my god why?" most of the battle reports. lol

I'd like to see more match ups against HE and DE, at 3k the elves should really be doing more with their magic and elites. I've seen OK getting demolished by HE with a mixture of clever movement, bows and of course magic (without Teclis). I am starting an Ogre army and I'd like to know more about what their weaknesses are against the various opponents. I really think DE and Skaven are the toughest when they're played well.

I'm liking the reports greatly and it's like a season finally of CSi...I can't wait til the next one ...(great painting too)

Ya the Destroyer is such a crutch- once it goes down the rest of the army has nothing else to back itself with.
Chaos dwarf players gotta learn to build a balanced army and ignore the easy build.
I hope your opponent gets a rematch with a list that does not make his warriors into statue cheerleaders for the Destroyer.

All these videos get me all fired up to do my own. We've been playing some different games lately too. Just did Storm of Magic. Tonight we're doing a NO MAGIC AT ALL game. Then I don't film it because I am lazy. Maybe I need to watch WHILE playing to keep motivation really high!

He just doesn't work well with ogres - it is bizarre. He is M4, doesn't fit in the footprint, his auto rally ability is mostly wasted on ogres (though useful for sabretusks), as is his +1 combat res bonus since ogres are rarely drawing or losing combat by 1. Top it off with his 3 attacks, no impact hits, and I 1. Yes his few attacks are S10 and D3 wounds, and he can cause stupidity in D3 models each round, and has a 4+ ward save and ITP - but I don't think he is better than 2 kitted tyrants for the same points.

Alright, go back to work and post more battles. I've been working on my converting my Mammox all weekend long and your battles have been the perfect way to keep a brutish focus. I've never had so much fun cutting my fingers to pieces. So, if you would have another 26 posted by saturday, I'd be much obliged....

Congrats on the victory with the Overtyrant. In mega-large point games, we all usually grab the "king" of their race and blow stuff up. I got stomped against last edition Settra, somehow pulled off the win against Thorgrim and have stomped Karl twice (once in hth with Greasus!).

Finally got a game in with the Wood elves. I have to say I really enjoyed facing them and think I'd like fielding them as well.

Hm- if you would have hunkered in your ironguts into the tower I think the wood elf player would have been hard pressed to get you out.
