Due to the amount of "random" rumours for WHF we got lately, I'll try to establish a more general RR for these. In the following you can find the (hopefully) latest rumours on WHF stuff that is either a) not linked to any specific race, or b) not enough for a rumour roundup of its own.

WOOD ELVES TREEMAN

It seems like a new Treeman is already done and is waiting for an appropriate release slot:

I heard today that GW have supposedly already made a plastic treeman for the new Wood elves, but that VC, Empire, DE and Dwarfs will supposedly get new books before the WE's.

The treeman, however was said to be on the new monster base and about as tall as the Ogre Thundertusk's banner, and that it stylewise is more living brushwood-forest thingy than an actual anthromorphic tree. Anyway take with a grain of salt as always.

Concerning Bretonnia:

I was informed recently that one of the three army books that are "pretty much done and ready to go" is the Bretonnia book.

I would have posted this in the existing Bretonnia thread, but it was apparently removed.

Sadly, there is nothing more at this point of time.

Recent tidbits from Hastings:

Apologies for taking the thread OT but there's no news yet to post on this thread anyway..... it's not like carnosaur cav are just round the corner

Of course there are plastic whitch elves coming .... just not quite yet..... AFAIK

No timescale given, but with Hastings record I'd expect these to hit sooner or later.
