    Warhammer 40k Christmas Deals

    There's a thread over at fantasy with the pictures for this years Christmas deals. There are two for 40k aswell - Space Marines and Dark Eldar, 175€each.

    Dark Eldar contains a Reaver, a Ravager, 5 scourges, 9 Jetbikes, 10 Warriors and 20 Wyches, 1 Venom

    Space Marines contains two 10 man tac squads, 5 scouts with sniper rifles, a Drop Pod, a command squad and I think there was a 5 man Assault squad, definatly a Land Speeder Storm and a Commander. Not sure, though... pics will come soon, anyway.

    That's a seriously good deal on the Dark Eldar.

    Sounds really good.

    How many points is that for Dark Eldar approximately?

    Just for some clarification:
    harpies = scourges and hagashin = wyches?

    Ah, yes, Voss, of course. Gonna change that.

    Also added Venom and Land Speeder Storm to the box contents =)

    I definatly missed something with the Space Marines, bit can't put my finger on it... maybe a Rhino...? ~~ sorry.

    2nd Edit: Land Raider Crusader. That's whats missing. And a Cybot. Something like that. It's late... I'll recheck tomorrow (or maybe someone is kind enough to post pictures...? =) )

    Looks like a venerable dread in the pictures, for those who are interested.

    The pictures don't indicate US prices. Anyone know if these are going to be available in the US?

    Will these be direct only or can I get them with a discount?

    Indeed, venerable dread and the 'normal' scout box.
    And it looks like an SM Captain

    US price is likely around $200 [+- 10] based on the conversion rate and GW's usual rounding

    These are probably direct only - aren't the Christmas deals usually DO? Or do they function as a splash release?

    Hey, 175€ might be a good deal, but £130 with 20% discount would be a much, much better deal.

    These won't be direct only (at least they have never been in the past so don't see why they would be now).

    Oh, I definitely agree - it was the first place my mind jumped to as well, which probably says more about GW pricing than anything

    That said, even if the usual discounters didn't have them, I'd still like to at least pick up at an LGS instead of Direct Ordering everything.

    Sums on the DarkEldar:

    DE BF 75€
    Ravager 39€
    Reavers x2 54.40€
    Scourges 22.50€
    Wyches 22.50€
    Venom 25€

    Total = 238.40€
    Saving = 63.40€

    Very nice indeed

    I was going to wait on a Dark Eldar Battleforce, but this box is so perfect with contents and even price I will have to grab one and take it out of my FW budget.
    The Marine Megaforce is also much better than other years, but I have way too many marines that still need painted.

    Jou DO know there is a DE Battleforce since June... right? Or did I just misunderstand you?
