So we begin. Here will be all my stuff for armies of Imperial Guard or Adeptus Mechanicus. Yeah, I decided divide it from my Space Marines thread.

First one is a test for my army and actually commision for my friend. I like Armageddon pattern Basilisk from Forgeworld, but I think there is something strange about its shape, so I did this from plastic Basilisk from GW. Dozerblade is magnetic, same as this front flammer.

Here is, how it looks like before basecoat. Next step will be airbrushing it to Steel Legion colors and then add some camo neting around main barrel.
Meet Armageddon Pattern Mk.II Basilisk from Steel Legion army.

Basilisk with extra tube inside in barrel to make it thicker and antenna in transport position. There will be camo net to hide inside of hull.

Nice Basilisk mate, pretty cool detail.

Awesome plasticarding. Nice clean work. I like the look crew compartments give to the Basilisk to begin with.
    Definitely watching

This is a truly lovely piece. You have great skill with plasticard and it definitely looks better than the forge world piece.

Incidentally, what are the rivets made from?

    Excellent work!

The self-propelled weapon very much was pleasant.

The Basilisk looks pretty cool (and is happy to see you, too). I agree with AtmanAbecedarian, adding a sealed crew compartment makes the Basilisk look more... complete, more like a tank in some way.

The Lord Commissar looks fine, but there's something iffy about his face. It's a bit long, a bit alien. I would suggest using a normal head (from the Cadian sprue, for instance) instead.

    Your Basilisk looks great!

And I know who that commissar is....he he he. (I wonder why?) You might want to make his hat sit a bit lower, but that's just personal preference, I'm sure it will look great either way! I need to know what head you used as a base for him though. Ya know, for reasons.

Vyler: head and torso is from this Cadian Commander from FW.
At first I wanted build regular Commissar, but one my friend pointed that he almost looks like him, so I made some changes, but I don´t wanted to have him to much comics look.

Cool Re: TomG´s Imperial Guard Log (with hint from Adeptus MechanicusM)

So here is Lord Commissar John Fuklaw in all his glory. It is not the best paint, I know, but for game purpose of my friend is enought and I hope he will like him.
"When comes Fuklaw, nobody expect Spanish Inquisiton!"
