Well heres my 2nd attempt at a Soviet style Army.


The 301st Mechanised Corps with elements from the :
152nd Guards Tank Brigade (Leman Russ'/KV-2)
123rd Heavy SP Gun Regiment (Destroyers/ISU152)
881st Artillery Regiment (Basilisk/S-51)
215th Motorised Division (Centaurs/Komintern's/Grenediers)

The list is.
13 tanks:

Started work 3 days ago and here is how it stands so far, still missing 3 tank hulls and the tractors:

Interesting soviet howitzer. How big it is compare to WH40k Basilisk? I mean main parts of barrel.

I'd been wanting to get a few of those to use as towed earthshakers, however I couldn't find any as everywhere was sold out when I was looking.

As for using it on the s-51, I decided to scratchbuild something similar as I'd be guaranteed it would fit.

So a slight change has been made. Basing the tanks on the KV-5 didn't work, as scaled down it looked bad. So replaced with 3 like the others.

I see, you are machine with plasticard. Btw you will have in army something like Pz754r (KV-2 captured by Germans) as these three on right of first photo?

The Baran siege masters are krieg light basically. Krieg with a personality. They were one of two original regiments to use the Ragnarok. Krieg/Baran used them, then the krieg didnt get them when FW redid them.

So yes, 3 of these will be german kv2's

So today I'm working on the turrets, but will looking through the krieg AC list I decided, why not see what a full force orginisation chart would be.

Well its around 5500 points

And

10 demolishers
9 vanquishers
3 hellhounds
3 basilisks
3 centaurs
2 destroyers

Oh I'd be so tempted...I mean...its only 20 more tanks...

Need gap filling, sanding, trimming, etc etc.
