Looking great. What pigment is that you are using?
Any chance for a tutorial for how you did those immortals?
ill be
I am using tamiya pigments (the ones that come in the little make up boxes).
Happy to do a tutorial - when i do the ironpainter event ill be doing a step by step with pics.
Pre- pigments - i undercoat black, base coat 50% scorched brown 50% dwarf bronze (air brush) - , devlan mud at all the joins and then a couple of verdigris washes (snot green, enchanted blue a a bit of white).
Pigments - i used a bronze metallic (red) and a copper pigment, then old rust pigment here and there - all applied directly using the applicator sponge that comes with the pigments. Sealed with pigment sealant. This is so easy and takes no more than a minute or two per model!
Wow! That's a pretty amazing challenge. Is it painting non-stop for charity?
I really like your Immortals. I can't look at them too much because I'll be tempted to collect Necrons! Great work.
Great scheme, especially given how quickly you are working through them.
Stop making me want to collect necrons!
Great work!
well i managed 14 hours rather than 24 but lots accomplised
In the end only 4 brave souls took up the challenge - Arkham is a great shop with plenty of space and tables - if a little remotely loacted (about 25 mins beyond Belfast)
Here a a few pics of the day. 2 necron painters, One blood angels and a FoW army. Karl did all the assembly and undercoating on the day...

The guys were still going when i left at about 6.30 am (i was the only one who had a nap tooops: )
Great craic all day and the first 10 hours flew by.
Maybe a bit of old age creeping in but 24 hours (with the 2.5 hr commute up and back) was a little much
