Haven't read many of the HH novels but since I'm a fan of the RG and was going on holiday picked this up, thought it was a solid read. Read throu all the posts about the book and I can understand some of the points made. Also the majority of the tainted raptor's were sound of mind, only there bodies were corrupted which was shown at the end where they help defend the complex. I do think Corax does come across as silly for not putting two and two together but hind sight is a marvellous thing but then again like its been mentioned he was a primarch and that he scoured the remaining troops for AL infiltrators why didn't he think about the Gene data either?
I liked that the big E had a hidden complex under terra for his primarch's to retire when there was galaxy wide peace... seemed funny to me, that the big E would think that would happen. I'm not a fan of AL but want to now find out what happens to the gene data
