Stunning, really. Necrons really lend themselves well to OSL and the subtle colors you have used here as a contrast to the metallic color.

They look amazing.![]()
Cheers bud
Tah Kapeg90, here's how I did them:
Recipe for the recent Necrons is up
Well it's been a while but I've written a new blog post on batch assembly which may not sound like the most exciting thing in the world, but is a necessary evil (I hate it!). Definitely essential when you get boxes this big turn up to be painted!
Also there's another couple of videos of an annihilation barge and a C'tan on youtube, the models look o.k. at least! My editing is still very non existent...
Lots more necron updates to come, this army is going to be very metallic (no change from normal necrons there), and also very gold (not seen this too much before, anyone got any links for inspiration?).
Interesting read on the batch assembly. Will this be another blue army? I have seen some done with Orange and man oh man they look good. Just throwing that out there. Cant wait to see what else you produce.

It's going to be gold-themed with more gold in accordance with how 'elite' the model is as per the clients wishes, I do have complete freedom on the basing and glowy bits though.
I think they'll be green, but painted, there's a possibility of blue, I've not yet made my mind up
You have intrigued me with the orange though, do you have any links?
I found these:

Orange would not work with the Gold your duscussing, but its good for black or chrome.

Those links are brilliant, thanks bud, I've got some more necrons booked in the future after this lot so they'll come in very useful for deciding schemes!
It's been a long time since I've posted an update here; I've been very busy with other stuff and also assembling a HUGE Necron army, which has taken a while!
I wrote a blog post about batch assembly: http://www.elementgames.co.uk/painting-blog/
And today I've just written an article on speed painting necron infantry using sprays and washes: http://elementgames.co.uk/forums/vie...php?f=20&t=231
I'll get some decent Necron pictures up before the week is out!

Double post.
Your white and blue Necrons are the best Cron army ive ever seen
Angron's hobbies include crochet and flower pressing - but he does them with barbed wire and his face, respectively.
How does it stay in the air? Oh, it's powered by pure handwavium
Quick, let me take my (Mat) Ward save!
Why thank you Kallus, it's a strong scheme, all I had to do was not balls it up, and repetition goes a long way! I'm going to be doing another similar ary in the next few months, but this one the client has requested soe blood effect on, and has wraiths, YAY two of my favourite things!!!
More shots here on my blog
And even more in my ever growing Necron gallery (will it ever stop?)
I'm quite enjoying doing the in a different scheme, painting gold and making the army look coherent and distinct is quite a challenge!
Sorry that they're on the wrong shaped bases chaps
I'll be doing some reviews/tutorials for them soon, however before I write anything properly I may as well say that all of these kits are absolutely brilliant from a painting and modelling perspective, none of them goes under 9/10 for me.
Here's something decidedly more round base![]()

I'll have a tutorial up for the screamers as well shortly, hopefully within the next couple of days.
For now here's the nurgling tutorial http://www.elementgames.co.uk/forums...ings-t232.html
And a quick review of both the nurgling and the screamer kits on my blog
Great stuff! Both the Necrons and Daemons are awesome. The Screamer's colour scheme really has an "other worldly" feel about it that I can't quite put my finger on.![]()

Given that they're Daemons that's just what I was aiming for with them, thanks Bob!
Some Plaguebearers, when I can squeeze an hour or two I'll get tutorials written up for both these and the screamers:
Picture is a link to my Daemon gallery with more views:
And also another Necron Shot, the army is getting pretty huge now! Plenty more Necron pictures if you click the link:
Also a Nurgle CSM army may well be on the Horizon, very psyched for this if it comes to fruition, I'll keep you posted, client's after very high standard across the board, with plenty of Forgeworld stuff.

Great seeing your work on the GW website again
