Bah, spent ages gathering ingredients for fortify restoration potions only to realise that the glitch has been patched on XBox. The best potion i can make is +42%.

Oh well, made myself some decent +30% smithing potions and got a few levels of alchemy out of it.

    Re: Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

I spent some time earlier today looking at a Game of Thrones episode - is it just me, or is there some creepy look-a-like thing with Ulfric Stormcloak and Ned Stark?

I just have this awkward feeling that if I disturb Ulfric too long he'll say "Winter is coming.( Get the hell off my lawn)."
    Just me?

Certainly not the same mindset, from what I've learnt about Ulfric up till now. Stark's an uptight paragon of honor, Ulfric seems to be an opportunistic tyrant-wannabe.

After becoming a werewolf, it got rid of my vampirism. Does anyone know how to cure lycanthropy in Syrim?

Are you mayhaps an imperial supporter?
Ulfric seems to be a broken man in some ways - much like how Ned Stark ends up later on in the series.

What I meant was that I suspect Ulfric's looks are influenced by Ned Stark's, and his tone of voice feels like a bit of an imititation.
Their personalitys differ, but something is creepy alike.

Well... if you except the very bad start with them (we're like, what, two seconds short of losing our head?), gotta admit the stormcloaks are way more vindictive and xenophobic than the imperials. That and dragons are not any less hazardous for health...

I got to admit I'm 100 hours in the game, yet I haven't seen him again since Helgen. I'm basing my opinions mostly on hearsay and how both imperials and stormcloaks behave. Besides, their claim hold no water, the Forsworn have a better one in that regard.
Yeah. I got a bit sidetracked by all these side quests
Talking about that, I'm a bit miffed by something I missed: I was happily walking (not horse yet then) up some road in the midst of a forest. It was night, and the moons hanged ominously above me... and from up the road, there's a ghost rider (I mean a guy with his horse, ethereal) that rushed down on me. Was kindda unexpected and he popped out from behind the cliff's top, so I had only half unsheathed my weapon that he was already on top of me... excepted that he didn't stop, and for half a second the "talk to..." option flashed on my screen. Damn! I was supposed to talk to him :/ (when he passed by at full gallop ><). Reloading my save, he didn't show up at all. What was that about?

The horseman is an easter egg, Urgat.

Follow him when you see him next, and he'll lead you on a wild goose chase that ends up at his treasure hoard.

Yeah, can't say I like those racist Stormcloaks... As long as they're fighting for freedom, I'm in - but when I found out they only liked "true Nords"... Let's just say that they had an unpleasant Hugo Stiglitz-like response

About him being broken, following the main quest it turns out Ulfric is kind of broken - Thalmor embassy has an act on him with some pretty wicked intel. Check it out

And that horseman is pretty badass - the easter eggs rocks in this game!

Has anyone found the skeleton hanging by it's feet in a snow troll cave with a sword just out of it's reach yet?

Why am I not surprised that the jedi mentioned that easter egg^^
As a matter of fact, yes, but I can't remember where it was.
