I'm not 100% sure we'll see mounted enemies, but I think I saw some in one of the developer videos. Not sure if they'll be retroactively included in other encounters, but someone will mod them in if not (and this is why you play on PC!)

Indeed, it's a shame that my desktop died a while back; I've had to make do with just my PS3 - for modern games.
I am currently looking to shift a sizeable amount of Chaos Space Marine models, including Dark Vengeance Cultists/Chosen/Helbrute/Lord, Fantasy Chaos Knights, a Dark Apostle, Fantasy (Finecast) Chaos Lord, Warp Talons, Possessed and painted models with Forge World parts. Send me a message if you're interested!

I really hope that the Legendary dragons have a few nods to other things, like Vermithrax.

Well, I've done both sides, Dawnguard and Vampires. The Dawnguard side was much less fun than the Vampires, although still alright. My one complaint is that I haven't seen crossbows anywhere but in DLC areas. I was hoping they would be existant in Skyrim as well. All in all, I would say that it's definitely worth the $20.

    The Vampire powers are awesome.

Haven't done the vampire side yet, but enjoyed the Dawnguard side. Working on leveling up my werewolf now.

10 hours doesn't seem a great deal of gameplay that's my only concern. Guess you could spread that out a little with side quests etc. but I was hoping for something a bit more meaty!

Any clue when DG is being released to PC? I want it just for the crossbows.
Does anyone else find the T-Mobile 4G wonderland advertisement disturbing?

Playing through the Vampire quest now. Pretty fun but I've got a problem; I don't seem to be getting points towards my Vamp perks. I know I've bitten enough necks, am I missing something?

There was an official announcement yesterday, since the 30 day exclusivity period ended for the Xbox.
Unfortunately, the announcement was 'We aren't going to tell you.'

Actually, Pete Hines exact words were "If we have news, I promise I'd tell you."
Since Bethesda is both the developer and the publisher, this is really confusing. Unless somehow they are managing to keep it secret from themselves.

But given that they would want some advertising lead time before it actually hits stores, apparently the unofficial status is 'ask again in mid-September.'

I heard Dawnguard was extremely buggy, maybe they are polishing it a bit more before releasing the PC version?

Quite possibly. But they had a finished version several weeks before they released it for the xbox, and with another month added on to that... their PC and PS3 teams really should have been able to clear up the problems with content locked down for 6-7 weeks. Even if they haven't squashed every last bug, they should be able to give an estimate for the latest addition to their flagship title.

So... ok, then. Dawnguard was released today for PC, at least on Steam, (and possibly PS3) in a blaze of no publicity at all.
Apparently GW has been giving lessons

Well that was always why the XBox blew the PS3 out of the water... You could actually get decent games on the XBox. xD

My PS3 has been broken for months so I bought Skyrim again for the PC for £20. Best decision ever is the dawn guard download lengthy?
