Is it worth it? I dont really care for Crossbows that much, and 20€ is not cheap for a DLC. How much extra playtime can you expect?

Thanks, didn't take too long to download in the end. I went into the game wanting to be a badass Dawnguard, inevitably became a Vampire Lord
@ Zarion: I've only played a couple quests but it's definitely worth it! The expansion also adds legendary dragons and dragon bone weapons so thats a bonus. I'm going to have to create a separate character for the Dawnguard
Add I've now completed the Main Dawnguard questline![]()

My Chaos Marine Madness! http://www.warseer.com/forums/showth...Marine-MadnessMy Pre-Heresy Word Bearers: http://www.warseer.com/forums/showth...y-Word-BearersNow's not the time for fear. That comes later.
Quick question for some of the more experienced players, I’m currently working on getting my enchanting skill up to level 100 (so I can put two enchantments on the same item) so I can make the most powerful weapons I can. I’m planning to put the fire damage/soul trap enchantment on my main weapons (dragonbone bow and greatsword) but I’m not sure if I should go for heath draining or frost damage. What would you recommend?
"Scotland Forever!!"
92 Gordon Highlanders and The Scots Greys at Waterloo
Id go for health draining. Nords are resistant to frost, and you are in Skyrim.
Also, there's mini DLC being released for the 360. It's a little expansion that let's you buy land and build a house. Have you guys on computer gotten Dawnguard yet?
On your bow go for more damage or paralyse; on your great sword how about drain stamina do you can still do power attacks.

If the worst case scenario for the above article transpires then it may be worth writing off Skyrim DLC for the PS3 full stop......
Wonder how long we PC gamers will have to wait (unless we use the mod that's been out for ages...)?
In the meantime: Spill, consolers!
- What's the trigger for the new content?
- What's the earliest you can access it?
- If you have a steward, do they carry over?/Do you need to hire stewards on a per-house basis?
- how big can houses get?
- how customisable are they? can you choose where new rooms go?
- Underwater houses for Argonians plz?/Treehouses for Khajit plz? (yeah, I bet that doesn't happen)
Looking forward to this a lot. I'm thinking of starting over with Dawnguard & Hearthguard and accessing the new content as early as possible to see if it gives any significant advantage
Remnants: A log whereupon a veteran attempts to piece an army together from scraps and trades
Danger! May contain Oingo Boingo
Ran into an interesting glitch with my first house: the east side walls aren't there and I fell through the map!

I'm not sure in the case of Dawnstar or Morthal but for Falkreath talk to the Jarl and do the two quests he gives you and he'll say you can purchase property, talk to his steward about purchasing property and she'll sell you the deed for 5,000 gold
- What's the earliest you can access it?
For Falkreath and Morthal you can access them from the get-go, Dawnstar you need to be north of level 20
- If you have a steward, do they carry over?/Do you need to hire stewards on a per-house basis?
Don't know as of yet
- how big can houses get?
Quite, after laying down the base house you can add the main hall and a north, east and western wing plus the outside if you want a garden and such like
- how customisable are they? can you choose where new rooms go?
I don't believe so but I've only built the main house and mapped out the main hall so I can't be 100% certain

You would be correct - regulation Nordic housing only I'm afraid
As for the steward you have to hire them on a per house basis, however what will happen is you will become Thane of a hold and your housecarl can be hired for no additional cost.
Speaking of the stewards, I was building my house and the housecarl came just walking up to it, he scared me and I almost murdered him. I already made the mistake of slaughtering a wandering armored troll by mistake.

I still feel sorta bad about that. All he was trying to do is wander back to Dawnguard HQ.

I love hunters. They just sit chilling in their camps. They're always friendly.
I built my Morthal (I think) home today. I went with the Enchanter's Tower, an armory, and the trophy room. It took about an hour or so to get all the materials and get my house built. It ended up costing me 2,000 in supplies. Not too expensive. However, the interior is completely bare. I think it'll take a couple more hours of work to get the house furnished. Also, it seems that people with children are more likely to be killed "randomly", to allow you a chance to adopt their children. This ended up making the town of Riverwood blacksmithless. Whiterun is also blacksmithless. I'm running out of places to buy ore!
Kind of gutted that there are only 3 places to build a house in Skyrim.
And Adrianne got killed by a vampire last time, so the guy in the store was going on about how he has to rely on the Khajiit caravans to get supplies now.
