I play mostly vampire counts but I desidet to split my vampire count army in diffrent smaller army's.
So this is my fist part a 3500-4000pnt strigoi army.
The point aren't on point yet waiting for the new book to deside on the point's.
but started painting it any way.
core wil prob be only cryp ghouls. lord wil be ghoulking on terrorgheist.
2 varghulfs and 2 terrorgheists.
thats the story for the army.

a varghulf I didn't really paint this my sell I got this painted ( cheap ) but I re-high lied it added a bit of detail an re-bast it and add it some washes so I em posting it any way

Good to see a bloodline Vampire Counts army around.

I think your white base rims distracts the eye from the miniature. A more neutral colour like brown or black would help a lot.

Its a kind of blueish color and yellow eye's just ain't a great camera.
And yes blue is my favorite color .

I very much like themed armies that eschew the 'strongest' choices only for theme first. Even if they do keep some strong choices.

On the unit filler; I dislike static unit fillers like the mauseloeum. However, with the building portion removed it looks like a bunch of graves. That just begs for some ghouls to be modelled leaping and running over them, perhaps opening one up and eating/fighting over the contents.

A unit filler like that would be all kinds of awesome!

Nice, themed armies always feel cooler. I think you should add some ghouls to the unit filler though. Right now it is so big and blocky that it looks more like two small units of ghouls on either side of a terrain piece. A handful in front of the crypt would be enough. Keep it up!

Im more thinking as headlong past it to get at the fresher meat.
Maybe in my next unit of 60 . Don't know yet. don't know if I'm taking a 40 an a 20 ghoul unit or another 60 ghoul unit.
For the reckort this is juist the first of my theme army's I'm planing a necromancer and witch king list around krell and Heinrich Kemmler.
2000- 3000 pnts i already have some of the core and special done done. a von carlsien army around 8000 pnts (1 lord/hero done and one unit core) and a 3000-4000 bloodknight army (also one lord/ hero done).
For the detail Im not planing to use my core from one blood line in the army of the other. every thing has to be able to be fielded as one large army.

So I wen't shopping to day. Got me the knew vampire counts book and started making a ruff army list for my strigoi army. So my chose of points has hon up to 5000pnt's.
the list will be 4 units of crypt ghouls. One of 60 ,40, 20 and 10 all with champion.
Next are the specials a unit of 18 crypt horror's and a unit of 6crypt horror.
as rare I went for 2 terrorgheist's and 2 varhulf's. as lords 1 ghoul kin on foot and one on terrorgheist. hero's will be 3 vampire hero's all up to to lvl 2 mage's.
this is a ruff estimation. will make a full list later on when al the points I have over wil go to extra ghouls for my unit of 40. So I got me 6 boxes of crypt horrors an a second terrorgheist. A militia men box to convert fillers from for my ghouls (ghouls eating them).
The next thing I em buying is 2 more boxes of crypt horror's and a terrorgheist and than my army will be complete. I will post pix of every thing ( painted, not painted and still in box) off everything I have for this army.
