My mordheim warband

Absolutly outstanding work, i really admire your smooth fleshtones, and the direwolf just knocks me down.

This is gonna sound really stupid, but can you describe how you apply the grass to your models, and what you used, it looks really good.

Im after somthing more than a simplistic " say what i see" approach. I would like to know what brand of grass he uses, what he glued it with, what paint he used etc etc, anything he can tell me.

Then I saw the wolf!

They´re so beautiful or whatever term would be better suited for Undead.

But to be honest I like the henchmen better than the heros. They could use some conversions to stand out more.

Great work, especially the dregs and the wolf. The only bad thing I have to say is that the vampire looks a bit ... bland. Just a feeling I get; he doesn't do it for me. And the black on his cloak looks a bit chalky.

That said, it's a splendid warband. Shows that not everything has to be converted and baroque to look good Sets a good example for us all to follow. (And I can't wait for you to build your site so that we can see more)

Thanks for the compliments everybody! The grass is woodland scenics static grass, shades wild honey and burnt grass mixed together, it really puts that neon green GW stuff to shame. It´s just glued on with white glue, no drybrushing whatsoever. The overall smoothness of the mini´s is mostly achieved by layering, then ink glazing and re-highlighting until it looks right. All these guys are painted with citadel paints with some tamiya clear inks used here and there.

The best bunch of Mordheim zombies I've ever seen. Especially the number two, he's particularly outstanding!
