In mission six: the unknown lifeforms from the Deathwing expansion the marines have access to powerfield generators. A powerfield generator is a small device that generates an invisible force shield. It is used for sealing hull breaches in emergency situations, or can be used to delay enemies by blocking off corridors. It takes genestealers 18 action-points to destroy the generator.

I've made 20 of them, 5 for each marine chapter that I'm going to paint (of which Space Wolves and Imperial Fists are allready done).

I placed transparant plastic that I cut to the size of a door on small bases. This didn't give the look I wanted, so I tried to paint some reflection on the supposed force field.

Dude, those doors are really good. Refreshing take on space marines too.

Loving those converted original Terminators - Says a lot (about me I guess) that I actually prefer the 1st ed design style to the latest 40k ones, even if the detail is poor. The only (slight) change I would make is to shorten the Lightning claw Arms a bit.

what's up with this blog?

Not much to show. I spent most of my hobbytime on my orc & goblin army. I did collect stuff this year to make a 3D spacehulk. I bought some conversion bits to make two more space marine squads. What chapters I'm still thinking about. Could be Ultramarines, Salamanders, I dunno yet. I also have several ideas and bits for extra genestealers and a broodlord.
