Sorry guys, I was very busy yesterday and I forgot to mention that I had updated the original post.
Well it is only a small thing but it is quite a big thing if it is accurate. I say 'If' as I heard it quite a long time ago (well over a year ago and I am a bit fuzzy on the details) But I think I picked up that Jes was working on Black Templars possibly with Juan Diaz or Seb Perbet?
Which are some nice names to throw around for any army. Wouldn't you agree?

That is pleasing to hear! Juan has always been a favourite of mine
If I ask the Pie God nicely, might he tell us unworthy folk who is next? (The Great Debate: Tau or Templars?)
Archon Ba'al Starslayer: Kabalites!! What is your profession??
Kabalites: Haauuuu! Haauuuu!
Archon Ba'al Starslayer: You see, Farseer? I have brought more Warriors than you...
IIRC, Harry mentioned on another thread: "Tyranids, Blood Angels, Grey Knights, Sisters of Battle, Necrons, More Nids, Black Templar, Tau, Chaos, More Eldar, More Space Wolves, More Dark Angels."
If the pattern hasn't changed that would put Black Templars after a wave of Tyranids. If true, I'm guessing 2nd wave Tyranids in February, some kinda WHF release in March and BT in April.

As I tried to convey above, I realise this order isn't necessarily set in stone. But with exception for the DE (who you guessed were somewhere in there) the order from Tyranids to Necrons was near spot on...![]()

When were Tyrnids released? I thought their codex was older than the BT codex.
To my rough knowledge, 40K books have gone in the following order so far:
Warhammer 40K (5th Edition)
Codex: Space Marines.
Codex: Imperial Guard
Planetstrike.
Codex: Tyranids
Codex: Space Wolves
Battle Missions.
Codex: Blood Angels
Codex: Dark Eldar
Codex: Grey Knights
Codex: Necrons
Anything not on the above, hasn't been updated for 5th edition yet.
Tyranids: January 2010
Black Templars: November 2005
So Templars are quite a bit olderIn fact if you count the Sisters of Battle WD codex, Black Templars are currently the oldest one.
Space Wolves came before Tyranids, but other than that spot on.
When did GW release something? Was it plastic or metal? Who sculpted it? Come find out:Fantasy, 40K, LOTR, BFG, Blood Bowl, Epic, Inquisitor, Man O' War, Mordheim, Necromunda & Warmaster

I'm more interested to know of they are actually getting a codex. If its a WD then I won't even give it a glance..
Hate to tell you, but the WD codex IS valid and official, even if it doesn't come with a fancy cover or cost $30 for a single book. You may not like it, but it is there. Yes, it wouldn't be extensive as the Blood/Dark/Blue/Puppy/Spikey/Psyker Marines, but it will be more in keeping with the current build style. To be honest, aside from the fluff, it really wouldn't be THAT hard to fit the current one in a WD codex after all.
I DO hope they get a full book codex, mind, and it will be disappointing if they don't get a good one after all this time.
It has been said that only the BA and GK will have access to the Storm Raven. Will that stay true? I believe so, but that just means we'll probably see something even more annoying coming from the Black Templar/Ultramarines/Dark Angels.

And it would make WD worth buying, particularly if they expanded the idea to IG regiments and craftworlds, hive fleets, etc.
That said, if they keep making rotten eggs like the SoB one, give us the full treatment instead, please.
Call me crazy but I like my army to have its own book, fluff, suport and release. The solution is to make the chapter more divergent from the standard (easy enough to do given their history) and more unique, fun and interesting.
Besides, even if they don't what's the harm of another army book?
