That would be ace if they're plastic. I mean, if they're 10 different poses we can assume they are not easily interchangeable, but plastic is sooo much easier to work with for conversions...

The vast majority of raging heroes stuff is metal, so I'm guessing that's what those will be, but I don't know. I hope they're plastic or resin. If it turns out they're metal count me out.
My goal for the year is to get another 100 models painted.
    So far I haven't touched a brush.

Yeah, I've received mostly metal pieces from Raging Heroes, but the Manticore was resin, and that was nice. I think bluemage is right, and these will be metal.

And if they are metal, count me in. Plastic and resin is a relatively new development and as someone that's been playing Warhammer since 4th edition, I'm more than happy to use metal. Heck i"ve been using it most of the entire time I've been playing Warhammer. Plastic is great as well. Resin? Not so much.

I don't care if they're metal... I'll buy them anyway! Nice, modern WE are not something to miss.

Also confirmed is that they're 32mm. So, anyone using these for Warhammer, watch out, they're going to be bigger than your heroes.

Actually, this is not a final call yet.
As said on our blog, our first intention was to go for 28-30mm, but the only comments we received about scale were from several different sources asking for 32mm. It now seems that this came more from people playing Sci-Fi games rather than Fantasy games.
This is really not a problem as we are planning to release a Sci-fi version of this unit and we can easily make that Sci-Fi release in a 32mm scale and keep the Fantasy release in 28-30mm scale is that's what works for you.
Please don't hesitate to give us your feedback and suggestions as we're still at a stage where we can make some changes.

30mm would be more compatible scale-wise with Games Workshop miniatures, which is what I presume many people will be doing with those lovely miniatures. I must add it's really cool of you to stop in here and clarify our questions. Communicating with consumers for input is a place where I see many miniature companies fail, so it's a refreshing change to see a company making such sensible business decisions.

Yeah I would buy those up if they were in the right scale, beautiful models!

    Re: Some Dark Elf Rumours

Those raging heroes miniatures look great, I love the dynamic poses in the teaser. One downside, the head (especially the top) of the full model is a bit wide/big.

Between de DE wyches, new DE witches, Blood vessels and whatever aow will release we can have a mayor (b/)witchfight. I wonder which set will come out on top.

I ver much like the sculpts of the Raging Heroes' Vestals... if they are compatible with my Warhammer miniatures (28-30 mm would be fine) I'd most probably buy them...

a bit of (hopefully constructive) critisism: the heads are a bit big, and the headgear and swords are even a bit more out of proportion IMO.
maybe sth to change for the SciFi-version.. other than that: a beautiful mini, consider them ordered

Yes, metal and they look fantastic. I thought also they were a bit big headed when I first saw them, but the more I look, the better they seem.

Also, it seems like Raging Heroes crew will make them 28mm if we, the customers, wish for that scale. It might be that there's a release with a scifi twist in the future, but that should probably be posted on the Dark Eldar news&rumors thread

The head is too big, the face is horrible, the waist is way too small and the breasts are so ridiculously perky you expect them to break out into song.

    Re: Some Dark Elf Rumours

Wow, that was a bit harsh...

If they are 28 mm, I'll buy them. Maybe even 20 of them. The heads are too big? Well, considering they are "heroic scale" that's expectable. As for the blades, I like them that way. The only thing I'd change is the thighs: to me, they are too thick. That's what probably makes the waist look too thin.

Other than that, keep it that way.

Oh, and if (and it's a big "if") you guys are considering different hairdo's, try a single long braid with a high insertion. That was my favourite hairstyle in the W:AR character creation, and it looks really cool.

    The figures are lovely.
There's nothing wrong with not liking a figure, but Internet "snark" takes no courage and makes the poster look silly, nothing more.
As for size, I'd defnitely recommend 28-30mm. You'll sell a ton of them that way.
As for coming here and talking to us directly and looking for feedback? major kudos for that.

Anything other than the same scale as GW would be madness. The current scale RH use is fine. Heres a rough photo I took a while back for size comparison.

    http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/...sModels002.jpg

    Left to right:
    Kabuki's Nerah
    Raging Heroes' Asharah
    Guild of Harmony's Vanys
    GW's supreme sorceress
    Bane Legion's Nagausith
    Guild of Harmony's Phoenicia
    GW's succubus
    AoW's light elf mage

I'm not sure sci-fi versions are necessary tbh. If they're being used as wyches then players will have to use GW weapons anyways, and remove any attached weapons RH put on. Perhaps having the arms seperate would be a good compromise?

I'd like a few items like goblets, daggers, and a cloak etc in the command box if you could swing it too.
