Lee Guthrie/Eldanar RIP
He looks like a Scibor sculpt (in a good way).

nice sculpt, I like the forward arm very much and the face also, though the skin on the belly could do with a bit more details. Just nitpicking here, the model is great !

I wonder if GW regret letting mr. Paniagua go. It's a good herald, about on the same level as GW's new plastic Nurlge hero.![]()
Wow, that's an awesome figure! I don't really seriously play any of the GW core games anymore, but I played Nurgle in every system back in the day and I may have to grab this guy just for kicks. Besides, if I ever do break out the old armies he would make an awesome Daemon hero. Could also make a great possessed in a Mordheim warband!
Great model! I might buy it just to paint.

Maybe u must do it something different of GW
Its pretty nice but a bit soft in detail - I can't decide if thats a good or bad thing really, but given the sheer amount of pestilent daemons out there I guess theres something for all tastes.

I like the model, but my first thing to be done when it arrives is to file off its ass-nurgling and fix that up. Its a little too immature for my taste.
Wish felix would consider sculpting 5 monopose plaguebearers in plastic. Hopefully cheap, sell like hot cakes, no ip infringement as "plague daemon" is pretty generic.
So. Yesterday (its 00.07 now...) mine arrived.
Trimmed the nurgling off his butt, assembled him, did a little bending to move his skull chains out of line with his sword, and then started filling him.
He needed a LOT of filling. The join for his head had barely any "meet" and needed a big blob of superglue (I use artificial hardner, so I can use superglue as a basic filling substance). I then had to plastic putty 180 degrees round him, to fill in the hefty gaps where his L shaped torso pieces met, and finalise it with a coat of liquid greenstuff (applying liberally to his ass to smooth out where I chopped/filed off the nurgling.)
I think the join on his body could have been more thought out, but at least the pieces were two obvious joins, the filling work was plentiful but easy, so I really didn't mind that.
Hes got some lovely spine growths out of his back that aren't shown well in the photo. Which is a shame, as they're a much nicer feature than "butt monster".
My last comment is this: He's REALLY big. I didn't realise how big till I got him. In terms of 40k, he's 40mm base big, to be honest. He dwarfs a 25mm round one. This is again, not remotely an issue for me, and I like that he's going to stand out while leading my plaguebearers. Its just something I did not remotely pick up when looking at his online image.
Anyway, he's now fully painted and sat ready for his debut game of 40k (next week I hope).
