Chaos furies would add far more to the list than forsaken unless they can fly or something equally as silly

To be honest I wouldn't hope for that much! It seems that GW decided that the removal of daemons from the WoC list justifies the exclusion of flying units. I too would like furies to return. But failing that a unit of forsaken that are skirmishers and can be made scouts is a nice alternative.

    Chosen not Forsaken

Plastic Dragon Ogres kit long been a high-ups dream - now being realised.

    Re: WoC

Much as I really love Nurgle in all his vile and disgusting forms, I will only buy back into WoC when they bring out individual units of plastic marked troops/knights.

I'm guessing this is certainly not on the cards for many years.

From the list Hastings put up it looks to me like things we've known have been WIP or finished for years. There were rumours of plastic dragon ogres at least 2 years ago I think (meaning they were sculpted more like 4+ years ago). The chariot/ warshrine I'd be surprised if that hadn't been worked on for several years.

With any luck they will follow this release up with a wave release of stuff they've been working on recently (say 1-2 years ago).
Looking for a Chaos Dwarf Hellsmith? I always have one or two for sale!

The rumours about DO I remember came from a poster with a less than stellar track record, meaning odds are it was made up.

    Re: WoC

If it is "Chosen, NOT Forsaken" I'd rather interpret this as a single purpose kit?

But anyways, good to see more people are hearing the same! (not that I didn't believe hastings)

This is my final rumour post as I'm hanging up my rumouring gloves/boots/other equipment. So please enjoy discussing WoC and the above kits.
This is like when Yoda dies in Star wars.

But you will be back as ghost Yoda in the next movie right?.

More powerful than we can possibly imagine.

You never told me there were special gloves and boots.

    Re: WoC

Yah, we all know this, GW won't do dual purpose kit for Chosen/Forsaken.
It's just NatTreehouse who gave us a hope about such possibility.
However my gut tells me that Warriors are supposed to be redone soon, because GW usually changes Warriors design/look every 5 years or so (after adding some extra metal bitz, mutation sprues). Just a pure speculation. But lets face it: current warriors are not 10 per box, you have to use metal bits for more weapon options, heh and they were released more than 5 years ago methinks.

GW decided to remove them from chaos marines in 40k yet rumors suggest the new legion codex is getting troop daemons back, I don't think its to much to hope for and even if they don't it doesn't change the fact Forsaken come across as one of those drunk ideas that should have been scrubbed and totally redone when sober in the morning

Thanks for you input over the years Hastings. It's sad to see a credible rumour well dry up but I am sure you have your reasons. Good luck to you.

On another note. You hinted not so long back there may be some sort of Wolves coming in 40K? If you could add any meat to the bones on this rumour before you fully sign off it would be great.

    All the best.

I wouldn't do that you'll miss some nice stuff for fantasy
I know the more powerful than you can possibly imagine bit was Obi Wan but Yoda dies too ... then pitches up with Obi Wan and Lukes dad at the end of return of the Jedi when all the teddy bears are dancing around.

I love the notion behind forsaken .... just one or two gifts too many ... a couple of gifts short of spawn. Love it.

Ya there would be so many possibilities conversion wise, but they would really need to fix the stats. T5 and the possibility for different gifts might work, but still keep the low armour save and points cost.

I wonder if any one from GW who saw the book or wrote it (i bet they had it ready for print months ago...) is reading this and laughing his head off reading all the wishes, hopes and such

If GW takes my 3 WOC lores of magic i will organize a pitchfork and torches mob and invade their HQ

Well what good is the casper the friendly ghost routine anyways? I mean I bet Vader Anakin was pretty jared off when he found all all he could do was hang around fires with a bunch of carebears.

So by that you mean chaos spawn are also being revamped I assume that chaos gifts are either gone or just like big names now (taken from the magic item allowance).

Do you think us mono khorne players will be happy this time round?
