    4Tk Gaming Tournaments boards

Just thought we would show you some tournament gaming board set ups that you could expect to play on if you enter any of our Tournaments.

We pride ourselves in being a little different. With our tournaments you can't just create a gun line and sit back shooting the crap out of your opponant, you will have to think a bit as well. Our Terrain actually will block line of site allowing you to move arround the board, using battle tactics is essential.

These are great boards to game on and everyboard we have in our tournament has the same attention to detail.....

enjoy the pic, any comment appreciate.

If your interested in being anypart of our tournaments just let us know or check out the link at the bottum of the page.

We will add more pics soon, we have loads.....

    Cheers for checking us out

They are very nice tourney boards, played on them a couple of times now (last time back in August for the doubles event) - I am disappointed that I wont be playing on them this Sunday

Next year though - I will be looking to turn up for 2 events !!!

The one with the road or the one with the alien rocks with bunkers? I think it is the road one

Some of those look awesome. Nothing better than playing on a board with an actual theme that ties everything together.

Personal fav is the bastion board and trees, looks like a nice one to play on, the last dark board also looks good, do you aim for 25% terrain coverage?

    Hello bugbait_nz

We tend not to follow these guidelines as we strongly believe its all about creating a theme. We like to created an environment where its a bit more challenging.

We want to offer our gamers a different kind of game play

    Hi 4TK Gaming,

I'm just creating my first game board for Salisbury legions tourny in MArch and having never built one before would appreciate some advice.

Roughly how long did each board take to build?
What materials did you use? (Board, paint, etc)

And any other advice would be great thanks.

    Re: 4Tk Gaming Tournaments boards

Oh those battle bunkers with the missile thing are awesome!!! I kinda wish you didn't put the arcane ruins next to them, though. Instead, you should simply add some rocky outcroppings. It now looks like it can't decide if it wants to be 40K or Fantasy.

And yes, I know there are daemonic ruins in the 40K universe, but there aren't usually any bases being built right next to them.

    You are right Daniel

We need not make that mistake this time.

We will add some boards we use for our Ultimate Commander (UC) Tournaments. They will be a little differenet from the norm

Feel free to let us know what you think.

Hahahaha. Much better. I also really like that last one. It could do with a couple more of those jungly grassy bits, but that's just nitpicking. I also really like the setup of that landing platform table. It looks like it would be a real base, with the towers strategically placed. That is something I find lacking in most table setups, but it looks like this would be something actually used, if that makes sense at all.

    Keep up!

We had the challenge of a new board for our Ultimate Commander Tournament (UC IV). After much thought we decided on an ICE Board, check out the finished product and feel free to let us know what you think.

    Re: 4Tk Gaming Tournaments boards

I have to ask you something. Your boards are just fantastic. I think you guys are the envy of many a club, and even (professionally run) tournament organizations will be jealous, I suppose.

Since I organize a local club, I have the secret ambition to one day have a grand collection of awesome tables like yourselves (and subsequently be the envy of many a club and organization ourselves)... so...

How do you go about this? Is there a plan behind it? How many people are involved and how do you cover the costs?
I understand it might not be something you are willing to post on this forum (if at all, of course), so perhaps you could send me a PM or mail? If not, that's fine too, I don't want to be a bother.

PS. Awesome Ice table. A small Tau outpost building would also fit really nicely, if you ask me. Or even an Imperial Outpost... Where "the Thing" has slaughtered all the scientists hahaha.
