Thanks for the link! Just downloaded it, will read later.
The great thing about the dwarves is that, even though there's this comic element, when they fight - they really fight!

Very cool minis! I like that fubarnii noble/elder green - is he Empire or Delgon?

He/She is for the Empire. I think the Delgon have a much plainer dress sense being the fanatics that they are.

Delgon do seem to generally be in simpler dress, although the ornamentation made me think that figure might represent some sort of high priest or something along those lines.

On the Dhogu riders - are they wearing fur leg- and arm-warmers, or are they supposed to be furry themselves? I wasn't sure if they're some new sub-race of fubarnii, or if they're just in cold weather attire since they hail from the mountains.

The Dhogu are wearing leg and arm warmers rather than being hairy themselves...I'm pretty sure anyway.

Re: World of Twilight - The Twilight Traveller eZine

Hi there! Having seen Hairy Norseman's post I thought I should drop by and say hi.

Most of the empire fubarnii shown have been country folk or military so have generally been dressed practically. The wealthy fubarnii of the central empire do however have a tendency to be a tad pompous, with over-the-top outfits. They often sport fake tails and large headgear. Mark Craggs is working in some 'Noble Guard' to accompany the noble, but I wanted to make this guy available immediately.

There are a couple of Delgon priests at the casters at the moment. They are still fairly plain, but I would like to do a more ornate high priest at some point.

The dhogu do have slightly hairy hooves, but then tend to wear lots of furs over the top - these dhogu are wearing hairy hoof and arm warmers. The dhogu are a distinct race of fubarnii - shorter, with larger hooves and a tendency of being more hairy, but they are part of the same species. There's a very rough sketch showing the variation in races of fubarnii. I'm not sure I can post images, but you can find the pic here:
