Ah, well- you had said Inquisitor above, so I thought it was worth pointing out. Personally, I'm happier with the classes and advanced classes being distinct concepts, so the divide between juggernaut, marauder, sorcerer and assassin pleases me.
Interesting, never saw that one, but I can completely understand the reasoning behind not doing it. Its fairly rife for chicanery and exploitation in quite a few ways, both for lost, stolen and 'lost' codes, as well as gold farming type shenanigans from people who preorder, but never register the game copy, leaving an effectively clean electronic trail (since preorder codes and product codes need never interact).And when I use the term "grace period", I'm not talking about early access, that's early access. Originally, the community manager chap stated that those who had early access would be given a few days after the 20th before they would have to put in their product key, to allow for physical boxed preorders to arrive through the post. They've now decided that they're not doing that afterall, so if launch arrives and your game doesn't, you're locked out until it does.
