Great event, well worth attending. Thanks to all the organisers!

Just like to add my thanks for running this event as well. Absolutely superb.

Thanks to my three opponents, three great games, thoroughly enjoyed each of them. Chef was an absolutely great sport when the dice abandoned him (second or third roll of the game I think!) I don't think I've laughed so much in a game before.

Well done to the victors(Simon, Rob, Steve), in the car home despite finishing 7th I was the lowest placed person there! Foot slogging Eldar doing well in the UK at 1500?!! Who'd have though it.

Excellent show on the best painted as well, there were three or four incredible armies there.

Liked the secret missions as well, really added some extra flavour to it.

Thanks to David and Andy for running a great tournament really enjoyed it Very shocked I managed second but even more shocked Cynic managed 3rd!!! lol Looking forward to the next one already!!!!!!!! (hint hint!)

Got to say sorry to Andy for somehow managing to win when I didn't deserve it, it should go on the list to Steve whom I very much enjoyed thrashing lol and apologies to Martyn (sorry if that's not correct I'm getting old and my brain doesn't function that good!) for his awful luck and my amazing luck!!!

Congrats to Simon on his win - next time I want some revenge!

What a great day, thanks to both my opponents who even though they managed to win the game I ended up with more VP's. Oh and thanks for H for the last game and even though there were no Tyranids left on the table still managed to come one place above me. Bah humbug!!!!

I'm gutted to not be able to attend as by all accounts it was a great event!

Hope another one will be arranged soon (23rd April is St George's Day, wink wink).

I'm glad everyone enjoyed it! Many congratulations to Simon Smith for best objective, James Karch for best army and to Steve Roberts, Rob Reynolds and Simon Edwards for 3rd, 2nd and 1st places!

I very much enjoyed running this event and I look forward to the next, which will most likely be 18th August (in order to not clash with other local tourneys!).

I shall post up results for this and the sign up thread for 'Summer Slaughter' soon!

It's yet to be confirmed as to which it'll be. It depends on how likely it is they'll let us hire the hall for sunday as well. Although some said they liked the 1 day concept as they found 2 day events difficult to attend.

I'll definitely be up for the next one, I'm not worried if its one day or two.

If its one day I guess that means we get to do more of them

Well, the legion is only open 12-5 on Sundays, so it looks like it'll be another 1 dayer. The good news is that I have secured the larger hall, so I can get 15 tables on the go!

Don't get me wrong I definately enjoyed the one day format - so much so I'm thinking of maybe nicking it! lol I also very much enjoyed the secret missions as well although I thought the capture an enemy model one might need a little look at (maybe if you had a unit within 3" when target is killed/destroyed then you capture it as well).

One day suits me fine I already want my name down! lol

Great tournament - a nice and friendly yet competitive tournament and thanks to my 3 good opponents! Hope to attend your next one and hopefully it'll be a 1-dayer as its easier for me to attend.
