I'll go back and have a look at revisiting the rear of the helmet - good spot!

How can Shane sell the models commercially BTW since GW are rather picky when it comes to IP and licenses. (i get that impression thet he will sell them since you say the model will be shipped away to get the resintreatment)?
Valid comment and I think it's worth me giving the full context. Shane sculpted the figures purely as practice sculpts and completed them recently. I had the opportunity to buy the sculpts; Shane and I discussed and he had no objection to me having the greens moulded and a small number of casts made for myself and a few friends, all on a strictly non-commercial basis. The small number of spare casts have been made available to interested people and have helped to defray the costs of buying the green and having it moulded. I'm not going to make any profit out of this, Shane has sold me the greens at about 50% of his commercial rate as they were 'spare time' projects. I have no intention of being the next Chapterhouse, going into mass production or making this into a business.

I don't see this as being much different to anyone who pays a mate to sculpt a shoulder pad for their marine army, casts and models the entire army, then sells a few spares to people who think its cool (which happens all the time!) - it just so happens there were professional sculpting and casting services involved.

If there's a consensus of opinion that I'm incorrect in how I view this, I have no problem with just keeping the casts for myself and my friends to allay any concerns on that front

I certainly didn't mean it as any criticism, just were wondering how it was supposed to play out. (As far as i'm concerned, the more warlocks available the better)

I got the impression that these warlocks would be available for the general public. I wrongly assumed that "be off to be made into resin tomorrow" meant they would be mass-produced and sold in stores. In which case IP complications kick in on a whole different level than is the case now.

Sorry - posted to the caster. He's not able to fit it in before Christmas, so it's on next year's 'to do' list. For those of you who were interested, I'll be in touch when its ready in the New Year

Potentially - Shane started a 3rd warlock (wraithbone horns, double-handed witchblade), so it largely depends on whether he wants to complete it...I'm trying to persuade him

I received and painted my Warlock, I really recommend it to anyone thinking about purchasing one. It is a lovely sculpt and Axiom shipped it promptly and very well packaged:

I'd be interested in both as well. They're such great models.

Any word about the other possible sculpts, like the (female?) Warp Spider Exarch?
