Well it's been a bit but I come with a nice update, I got my Tomb Stalker in a I decided I wanted to try and paint it for GD so I decided to try my hand at a nice base for it.

I will be painting the Tomb Stalker in my armies scheme so I don't know how well it will do but it will be fun.

For the base I have a downed Land Speeder I painted in a Blood Raven scheme, It only took my around 3-4 hours to paint and I think I will still go back and do some finer detail. Let me know what you think?

Start with a black base coat, then gradually dry bush on codex grey, then fortress grey and finally skull white.

    Forgeworld model fella - http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhamme...B-STALKER.html

Lovely stuff, look forward to seeing the above Tomb Stalker finished. Saw a similar idea on youtube where the fella had the TS ripping through a SM Rhino, looked brilliant as this seems to be too.

Edit... maybe you should put a pilot in the front with a Skeleton head, would add some zen to the mini diroama

Thought about doing a body or so but it's not going as a diorama, it's just a scenic base for the Stalker.

Nice job man, you're starting to turn me around on Necrons. I may have to pick some up just to paint.

I love the green glow coming from underneath the stalker.

Hey thanks Guys! The green glow was actually a last minute decision as I didn't know if I could do it well and really didn't want to ruin the whole paint job. Glad it worked out!

I am slowly working on painting more of my immortals and will get them on here as soon as I'm finished.

The glow came out really well. Was it just dry brushing? How did you determine where to lay down the glow?

The tomb stalker is really nicely done. I'm not a Necron fan, but I get tempted by that model whenever I see one. Is it a pain to assemble?

I saw your stalker before but didn't get to comment on it till now. It's an amazing model. I love the green glow, the chipped white 'face' is excellent, and the lines on the armor are a subtle, very nice touch.

All in all great job. Looking forward to the Immortals.
