The glow came out really well. Was it just dry brushing? How did you determine where to lay down the glow?

I air brushed the green glow effect. As for the layout I just drew a line directly under the middle of the Stalker following the curve of it's body. Then started with the darkest green and fanned out from there. Then going lighter and lighter and not spreading it out as much.

I finished 1/4 of my Immortals tonight! It's nice to see the shelf slowly getting filled with painted models.

Hey thanks, I got around and finally painted Szeras! Now I'm working on the hours of edge painting I have to do on my Ghost ark.....

Looking great, actually like him better than the GW model! You also do the green glow from the weapons/orbs so well. Is that just dry brushing or very watered down layers?

I have to agree with BowlingShirtJerk, your conversion of Szeras is much better than the new games workshop one. He looks really big and menacing. How much taller is he compared to your infantry models?

It's been way to long but I have a nice model finished to make up for it. I finally finished my Ghost ark and it took way to long to paint all those lines... I now dread my Doomsday Ark. Let me know what you think and I will try and update more often.

I really love your monolith and the tomb stalker. The immortal coming out from the portal is really effectfull, not to mention the glowing effects from your tomb stalker on the land speeder.

Thanks guys! I decided to re paint my monolith now that I have my air brushes but I had one hell of a time trying to keep the new GW paints from drying too quickly in my airbrush and forcing me to have to clean it every 5 min. but I got the job done.

9x wraiths
2x Triarch Stalkers
1x Doomsday Ark
25x Immortals
4x Crypteks
2x Canoptek Spyders
1x Destroyer lord
and about 20 more scarab bases

Right now I am currently working one of my Salamander Tac. squad but I will pick up and start another Necron unit after that. I'm pretty open to paint anything next but the Doomsday Ark, It will be awhile before I paint that...

I'd like to see some Immortals if they're armed with Gauss Blasters, just to see the air gun glow on all that Gauss weaponry! Or the Stalkers.
