    mrtn's terrain

To keep from having to spread out my terrain in my army diaries I thought it best to give it it's own thread.
Let's start with some finished pieces:

    Castle:

"Table mountain", mainly for use in Mordheim:

    Marsh:

The latest WIP is for another couple of marshes:

Is that last WIP marsh on the right deliberately looking Nurglish?

I finished the marshes. This time I tried to make deeper water with PVA glue but I don't think the effort was worth it, it's better just to have a heavy layer of varnish.

This one was harder to photograph and gets three pictures.

Nice, great idea with the marshes. And of course well executed, this gets a thumbs up!

Thanks. Maybe I should do more, I have a packet of Milliput that needs using up before it turns totally unusable, the grey half is oxidizing, even if I keep it in a sealed bag.

Those are some fine swamps. Very moist-looking.

Nice work on the fortress (and thanks for the hint to visit your plog)!

Can you tell me what the dimensions are of the fortress walls? I am wondering if mine are a bit the same size...

Have you used the fortress yet? I really want to know if the new siege rules are any good...
Check out my Mordheim scenery! NOW! I mean... Please... Only if you want to of course...

Thanks. There are some shots of the castle in use in my Beastmen thread , I played a team game a week ago. I liked the rules, they were simple enough that we who don't play very often understood them easily, and still fun.
I'm not at home now so I don't know how big the wall is. I remember it is 12" long (exactly), and I'd guess about 4" high to the walkways. It's probably some 3" thick as well.

Thanks. They are snotlings, if you mean the ones in the alcoves under the stairs.

I am liking this plog. It has the Glok seal of approval. Like the castle, sometimes wish I could do a castle. But noooo only empire-ish tables get castles!
