SoB: Order of the ????

Hi all, new project, new PLog. Have had some Sisters floating around in the 'to do' pile for a while now, and was planning to eventually use them as Allies for the IG army. Don't think that's going to happen any more. So when I got tired of painting green (see DA thread in sig) I decided to paint something pretty. Or pretty-ish. Anyway... first attempt at white armour and painting womans faces. Not finished yet in the pic although I have completed the first 10 just haven't taken any photos yet. Keen on input on the colour scheme and potential names.

Ha!! No not quite, although the wife's favourite colour is purple so that kinda influenced the choice. Have a coteaz in progress at the moment as well with a purple cloak and golden armour to match. Very fetching hehehe

And while not SoB, looking for some input re paint scheme for some Grey Knights. I think I know which one I like but keen to hear your opinions.

So on the left is plain boltgun. Middle is chainmail with blue ink. Right is chainmail with blue ink, badad black wash then boltgun and chainmail drybrush

I think that the Grey Knight on the right looks the best. The paint looks suitably realistic and gritty, perfect for the 41st millennium. I also love the color on your sisters. The white is very well done and the purple contrasts nicely. I was thinking that you could call them "The Order of the Virtuous Lotus" or something like that. Keep the updates coming.

I'm glad that you like the name. The white armor suggests virtue to me and the purple cloth made me think of a lotus. Again, I would like to tell you how much I like the color scheme.

The purple and gold match, as well as the white fur on Coteaz to the armour on the sisters.

How is that you paint so well if you're colourblind?

Oh and no update this week so far, still working on those Grey Knights, finding them remarkably easy actually, or maybe I'm just fooling myself...
